i need prayer so badly. i don't even know where to start! ok...i am married (2 years now) to an unbeliever. i knew he was an unbeliever when i married him, big mistake, i know! When we were dating i was also talking to another guy ,that i believe God was steering me towards instead. He is a pastor. We have known each other for a long time and i am in love with him. i have been since i was 12 years old! I kind of feel like God is telling me all over again.. he is the one for you.i have been praying like crazy. I want to love him though, i am not praying for that to go away. if it is Gods will then i will listen this time. He says he loves me too but that i need to try harder at working on my marriage. i just don't want to, i am not in love with my husband anymore. i keep picturing myself leaving and i am okay with it. i know its not the right thing to do. please please pray for me!! -naomi

Hi Naomi,
I'd have a hard time typing something like you have, and probably just want to be done typing it all and then not type anymore.
I have no idea who it is you are saying claims to love you too, but that you need to work harder at your marriage. God, or your pastor friend. Did this pastor marry the two of you? Is he your current pastor?
I'm sorry, I know it's an emotional thing to try to type up.
I'm praying you consider your child/ren in this time, and do not seek any counseling from your pastor friend nor solely go this alone, but talk to your parents, perhaps a marriage counselor, and not just work this one out on feelings of the heart alone.

Father,
Thank you for letting us know in the Bible, your Word, that you are all knowing. Thank you for understanding naominicole's situation. Please resolve this situation such that the outcome will be better than any of us imagine.
Thank you for your goodness. Please move on her behalf and on behalf of her husband, too, so that they both will be happy children of yours. We thank you and ask this in Jesus Christ's name. Amen.

thanks for the prayers. no the pastor i am talking about did not marry us. he lives in another state. and yes he is the one telling me that he does love me too, but that i have to work harder at keeping my marriage.

Lord, I life naominicole, her husband, and her marriage up to you in the name of Jesus Christ, Our Savior. Lord, show naominicole the path you wish for her to take in this matter regarding her marriage. Please do not let her act out of haste and lust, but rather out of what is truly from you and in agreement with your Word. Lord, protect her and her husband from the influences of the devil, and keep his deceptions out of their minds so that they can both make good decisions on this matter.
Lord, if it is your will, please give your your loving influence so that she might be happy with the decision she makes. Let her turn to you and your Word for inspiration, support, and guidance as it pretains to her marriage. Let her see in her heart how she truly feels about her husband, as well as this pastor who has come into her life, and what you would want her to do in this situation. Also, Lord, please have an influence on her husband. Show him your truth and lead both him and naominicole into trusting and loving relationships with you.
Lord, all of us fall short of what you desire for us, and we sometimes get led away from your path by our own desires. Please, God, forgive us for these times and help us to listen more closely to you so that we might be better influenced by your wise and gracious Word. I ask this in the name of Our Beloved Savior, Jesus Christ, who's blood was shed upon the cross for our salvation.
