Fritzpw_Admin -> Bug Report (4/8/2005 12:08:02 PM)

Report any bugs you find with the new system here.

Please do not use this thread to discuss issues.

dbark -> RE: Bug Report (4/8/2005 4:25:12 PM)

I posted this in the other bug list ... but I came across this one later and it looks more official [8|] ... there is a typo in the description line of the "marriage" folder. It says "Discuss how to be the helpmeet that God intended for your spouse.", and I assume that it should read "helpmate"

Fixed.

BenQuebec -> RE: Bug Report (4/8/2005 4:51:57 PM)

The "Bug Watch" and "Chatter Box" threads in the Volunteers Area are not "refreshing" themselves to show that I've read them. They still show up as having unread threads, and I've gone back and verified multiple times.

christsstar -> RE: Bug Report (4/8/2005 8:00:04 PM)

I've seen that in a couple threads Ben.

Another bug:
I've checked teh "remember username and password" checkbox in My Profile more than once, yet I've had to enter my password every time I've entered the site.

When going back to see if my profile saved my settings, that setting had not been saved.

Consecrated2God -> RE: Bug Report (4/8/2005 8:39:11 PM)

I accidentally left one of the boxes checked to receive e-mails if there were new messages, and so I got one, and all it said was Enter Your Message Here.

me too.

laura... -> RE: Bug Report (4/8/2005 10:22:02 PM)

The email notification is driving me crazy. My in box is being flooded. I can't find a way to stop it so I had to uncheck all of my subscriptions.

kimberlysfrog -> RE: Bug Report (4/8/2005 10:23:48 PM)

You should be able to stop all of that in the 'my profile' area, Laura.

laura... -> RE: Bug Report (4/8/2005 10:24:51 PM)

I've looked in my profile and I can't find where you stop it.

kimberlysfrog -> RE: Bug Report (4/8/2005 10:25:41 PM)

Huh...you can set that for private messages there, but I'm unsure of thread posts. Unless it has to do with the options to notify you whenever a new thread/message is posted in something you're subbed to...

christsstar -> RE: Bug Report (4/9/2005 1:40:06 AM)

before you post in a thread, uncheck the box that says, "Notify me via e-mail when someone replies"

christsstar -> RE: Bug Report (4/9/2005 2:38:15 AM)

¯˙¯˙¯˙¯˙¯˙¯˙¯˙¯˙¯˙¯˙¯˙¯˙¯˙¯˙¯˙¯˙¯˙¯˙¯˙¯˙¯˙¯˙¯˙¯˙¯˙¯˙¯˙¯˙

I have checked in my profile, "Subscribe to any thread I post in"
I'm not subbed to any threads I didn't accidentally request e-mail notification for.

BenQuebec -> RE: Bug Report (4/9/2005 8:47:13 AM)

I posted this in the other thread, too, but the unchecking boxes thing applies to those particular threads. Even if you uncheck everything, there is still a pre-checked box when you post a reply that says "Notify me via e-mail when someone replies". It's a pain to remember to uncheck it EVERY time you post something, and I hope there's a way to uncheck it by default. I just haven't found a way yet...

TwoSheepShort -> RE: Bug Report (4/9/2005 9:29:12 AM)

hmm strange.....I am listed as "moderator" in the members list but as a "new member" when I post.

Also the "stats" dont appear to be very accurate: 20 registered members, but 46 poeple have been on line at same time? The members list confuses itself with the number of members too....

ta_mosquito -> RE: Bug Report (4/9/2005 9:43:06 AM)

Could the Stats have been skewed when we were all testing under different handles, then they made them all Guests and we started over?

On a new note, when I modify my profile, I click Apply. That works. But when I click OK, I get taken to a page that has moved. When I click on whatever moved, it gives me a bunch of tech mumbo-jumbo.

from an online dictionary: http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=helpmeet

helpˇmeet ( P ) Pronunciation Key (hlpmt)
n.
A helpmate.

helpmeet

Help-meet (Heb. 'ezer ke-negdo; i.e., "a help as his counterpart" = a help
suitable to him), a wife (Gen. 2:18-20).

Consecrated2God -> RE: Bug Report (4/10/2005 8:53:27 AM)

To stop my inbox from filling up with those messages, I entered a different e-mail address in my profile, one that I rarely check except to delete everything. It's the one I use whenever I am regeistering on a new website to keep my real address from getting spam.

BenQuebec -> RE: Bug Report (4/11/2005 6:39:02 AM)

Fritz -

There's a typo under the Community heading. "Whacky" should be spelled "wacky".
The verb is spelled "whack". The adjective is "wacky".

Fritzpw_Admin -> RE: Bug Report (4/11/2005 8:42:37 AM)

Fixed.

Consecrated2God -> RE: Bug Report (4/11/2005 8:54:11 AM)

I checked "automatically subscribe to threads I post in" in my profile, and it's not working. I just started a new thread in parenting, and I didn't select "subscribe" and I'm not subscribed to it.

Ellie-Mae -> RE: Bug Report (4/11/2005 9:39:25 AM)

I just came here to tell you the same thing as LLisa did.

Also, When I hit reply on LLisa's post, like I did just now, I didn't get LLisa's post in quotes. Am I supposed to?

Hit "quote" instead.

ta_mosquito -> RE: Bug Report (4/11/2005 10:26:36 AM)

Clarification. Click one of the "Reply" buttons, then in the posting box that comes up, click "Quote".

Clarification. Click one of the "Reply" buttons, then in the posting box that comes up, click "Quote".

Look at the icons at the top of someone's post. Next to "reply" is "quote". Clicking on "quote" automatically lets you reply with the quote in place.
