I've been trying to change my avatar for 2 days. It always says "File too large"--even with I try to use pics I've used recently.

I have just got this message

quote:

This message has been deleted or moved, and therefore not available.

For this thread (Pilot steered bomb away from houses in CE) ~ despite it still being visible in the CE folder.

I logged out and was able to access it. Logged back in and got the same message.

Edited to add. I unsubbed to it (via My Subscriptions) and tried again but got the same message.

not getting pm notifications again and it's taking a long time again to send off pm's. I sent a pm to one person and had to wait almost 7 minutes before I could send another.

There were a bunch of posts removed, which will mess up the subs until more posts are made.

I'm still getting the Runtime Error issue that was posted about before - only it's specifically when changing from the main page to my Inbox. I'd say it happens at least 7 times out of every 10 times that I try to access my Inbox. I have to X out of CW completely, leave it a couple of minutes, come back here, try again; if the main page doesn't load, I X out of it again, if it does load, I try once again to go to my Inbox. I'm usually not successful until I have repeated that step 4 or 5 times, at 1-2 minute intervals.

EDIT: last night it took me almost half an hour to get my Inbox to open, half an hour of repeating above procedure.

Something weird just happened. I clicked on My Forum, only to get a message that said that "either this feature is disabled or you may need to login first." The weird part was, I was already logged in on Crossdaily.com!

I do not think that this has been reported yet, but when trying to reset "last visit time," I get a runtime error too.

FYI: I was working in Firefox tonight and getting LOTS of runtime errors and slow-loading page... it was logging me out too (three times!) So I just switched browsers to Google Chrome... so far, it's a LOT faster and no run-time errors. If that changes, I'll let you know. But if you're getting errors, you might want to change browsers (and IE is known to be very slow anyway).

This has happened in the past, but has returned: There appears to be two different clocks on the system and, so, you only have a minute or two to edit a post before a the "edited..." message appears at the bottom of a post.

The FCN portal definitely isn't liking Firefox tonight. I've tried to post in a couple of threads but nothing happens. When I use CCM magazine I have no problems.

Running Internet Exploder 7, trying to update my avatar - jpg, 123x140, 5.0 kb and it says "File Too Big." Been saying that for 3 weeks now.

Any ideas?

Hey! I got it to load from the CC portal instead of the FCM that I usually use.

Still getting Runtime Errors. Not just reading either. Some of my posts have triggered it. It's still totally random. And extremely aggravating.

I've been getting more and more runtime errors while using Chrome. I have a lot of difficulty getting into my inbox and staying logged in because of this. It seems to be worse in the evenings.

The time allowed for editing before the "< Message edited by..." addition has shunk to almost nothing now.

I think the last time it did that was because of a discrepancy in the board clock times.

Fritz, did you see that? It says I posted at 11.47, I edited it within 30 seconds of posting, yet it shows the edit time as 11.53.
