Alot of us have been wounded emotionally as well as physically, that is how we can "identify"
with the sinner. I, myself, had to go thru YEARS of good, solid christian counseling and accountability
and I still have moments of emotional pain but for the most part i can find comfort from our Lord's
words in Revelation 21:1-8 (I cry Every time I read this) This will be my prayer for you and for all
of us who have been hurt and abused: "Now I saw a new heaven & a new earth, for the first heaven
& the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea(in the bible, seas represent chaos).
Then I, John, saw the holy city, NEW JERUSALEM, coming down from heaven FROM GOD, prepared
as a bride adorned for her(or his) Husband(Jesus). And I heard aloud voice from heaven saying,
Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, & He will dwell with them, & they shall be His people,
GOD HIMSELF will be with them & be their God. And God will wipe away EVERY TEAR from their
eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be NO MORE PAIN, FOR
THE FORMER THINGS HAVE PASSED AWAY. Then He who sat on the throne said, Behold, I make
ALL THINGS NEW. And He said to me, Write, for these words are TRUE & FAITHFUL. And He said to
me, it is done! I AM the Alpha & the Omega, the Beginning & the End. I will give of the fountain
of the water of life FREELY to him who thirsts. He who overcomes shall inherit ALL THINGS, & I
will be his God & he shall be My son(daughter). But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable,
murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all the liars shall have their part in the
lake of fire & brimstone, which is the second death". Father, may it be according to Your word!
I plead the blood of Jesus over our past , present, & future. Thank You that we are redeemed
from the past & IT IS UNDER THE BLOOD! In Jesus name, Amen!
