Please pray for me as I am getting a little overwhelmed. I am trying to study for an exam, but am constantly on night duty working in the internal medicine unit in the hospital for the next six weeks. It's a practical exam so I really need to be going to the study sessions at work, but can't while I am on night duty. And at night, it is too busy for me to get any revision done. The exam could be at the end of February and I really can't see me passing it at all. And I have never failed an exam before, so I know I will cry! Aargh! It's all a little too much right now.

Why is it that the church trusts God in every avenue except with the singles. You would think that the church would be the last place you would get "why are you still single?" line.

Okay, here's my #1 prayer request: PLEASE PRAY!

My mother has been disabled for 5 years. When she divorced, I was a minor, but she took the money from her settlement for me and put them in bonds. She didn't report them and now after all this time, Medicare is telling her she's ineligible. She takes some very expensive medications and there's no way she can pay on what disability pays her.

Please pray that something happens.

It's always nice to find a place where you can share prayer requests and not be judged. And to see that others are going through some of the same things you are helps as well.

I'll be praying for all of you. I'm praying right now about a car situation. I have a car but it is on its last leg so to speak. I really don't want to jump into car payments so I'm praying for God to direct me to just the right auto.

I'm also praying for family members - some that need to be saved and some that need to be healed. For myself, I am praying for God to help me stay disciplined in many areas of my life and like nearly all singles, I struggle with finding God's purpose in my life and if I want to find a mate. But I don't want to wait to "start doing something" until that day comes and I think recently I have had that attitude.

God bless everyone here and I'll remember you in my prayers as well.

I have a prayer request too...

I'm in the process of finding a new apartment (If you look in ABC, you can read the story what is going on there) but you know any place you go into an apartment building, they check your credit. Right now, I'm struggling to pay my bills and I do have some bad marks on my credit because of the credit cards--however now, I believe I will never get a place to live because of my credit past and I have this thought that the enemy trying to make me feel that I'm hopeless and worthless because of my past, the past which I'm trying to correct.

But I need your prayers and if anyone can encourage me, please feel free to I'm me, ok....

He came over last night, really hurting, so we went to eat and he shared somethings that God had showed him about himself this week, through hard times with his dad. He needs healing, and that what he has realized will continue to bring about the humility that he showed last night.
