My father is having an MRI done this morning to determine if he had a stroke.

Praying for your dad.
On a less important note, praying that I'll get thru the next 3 1/2 weeks as I have alot going on. It's all good stuff but alot behind the scenes that need to be done before I can sit back and enjoy the holidays (and going up to visit mom's snickerdoodles and buckeyes!)

I interviewed for a job last Monday. They called a bit ago and made me the offer. It won't feel real until I have my first paycheck from them!

My heart is heavy this evening for so many ladies here on cw. Sometimes I get so angry at this world.....I get angry that bad things happen which hurt people......rob them of their innocence.....builds walls between brothers and sisters.......
We pray often for you to heal our land Lord......tonight I pray you heal our hearts.....this land can't heal unless your children heal........restore us Lord.....please Lord......restore to the innocence of your children.......the purity of heart.....the willingness to love.......
Please Lord heal us so that we may be healthy enough to tend the wounds of a bleeding world.

My #1 is for a solid FT job somewhere. I'm in prayer for others looking for the same, for PH, and for Tash's possible torn ligament hiding behind the bones and creating lots of pain. Then I'm in praise for those coming home, for Mutiny's new job, and in prayer again for some healing to our nation and guidance to its leaders about the US economy and those of the world about the world's economy. On the side, I pray protection for collegiate athletes soon to play some of their largest rivalry games for bragging rights, that their contests be in serious fun and that no one be injured into inability to go pro if they would choose.
That'll cover ten minutes of thought.

I posted this in the den over in the PFY folder but I wanted to put it here as well...

Mom has since calmed down. All are okay for now. Much prayer is needed. A lot more going on but I won't go into detail here.
