I've had a pretty rough week at work. It seems that I'm doing my job really well because a lot of guys on Death Row (where my post is) are really... aahhh... 'ticked off' at me. Tomorrow is my Friday, and I could definitely use a good, relaxing weekend. I'll be rotating to another post here in a couple of weeks, but I don't know who'll be taking over my post. Hopefully, it'll be someone who'll enforce the rules like I have been. I have a couple of other 'silent requests,' too.

Praying RC. My ddh was in corrections, and quite often incurred the wrath of the inmates since he was a man of integrity and tried to follow the rules. It is not an easy job.
As an aside, he used to sometimes get the solitary confinement or "lock down" shift. A couple of things that used to make the inmates angry but make them toe the line were for him to stand outside their door rocking back and forth in his squeaky shoes or play basketball in the hall outside their door...(it was fully concrete. The sounds were deafening).

Quick update:
They were unable to do the biospy on my daddy -- possibly too much scar tissue or a tumor, they aren't sure -- but are going to re-schedule and try to go in a different way.
Have a leak somewhere in my underground sprinkler system -- can't afford to pay someone to fix it, so prayers that the Lord shows me where it is and how to fix it would be appreciated...
Thank you Jesus, that you care for even the simplest things in our lives....

I have another interview tomorrow! (different company) I'm impressed - two in one week! Still waiting to hear back from the interview I had yesterday. Hopefully I'll hear something by Friday, but could be early next week.

Wanted to give an update. The recruitment event today went nicely. I was able to get a lot of necessary information. Also, the block on my transcripts has been removed, so they are on the way to the state for evaluation - which should give me my temporary certificate to teach secondary math. That's one of the highest needs in the state of FL. So now, I'm asking prayer for the right door to open to the right job - one that is a contract position within the school system - wherever God wants me teaching. There is a LOT that needs to be done in the next couple of weeks. I ask for grace in getting it all done.

I just got back to work after being called home to deal with "an issue" - something I've been trying to get done for 20 yeas. I'm absolutely and utterly emotionally exhausted now. I could sure use some prayer to keep me going and clear-headed for the remainder of the day. I'm truly just beat.

I have a prayer request which is breaking my heart today..........I won't go into the details but it involves my niece, her father, and letting go and trusting God. Please, please pray for protection for my little K.........thank you.

Two requests:
I know it's late for many, but if you get this tonight: my daughter and The Beau are having a landmark evening...something important they have been discussing is getting an airing tonight. Please pray that God will work. Not our way: but HIS.
#2) Please pray about my decision whether or not to buy a car. I need a car that will comfortably transport 4 people, 2 dogs, a full trap set and sound system, gets 30 mpg and has 158 horsepower, all for under $15000.
