Maybe a bit off-topic....

I haven't watched much Star Trek, but I was wondering what percentage of the characters are married, and what percentage are single. Anyone able to determine that?

In TOS - Dr. McCoy was widowed, the rest of the main characters were single
ST: TNG - Dr. Crusher was widowed, the rest of the cast was single until O'Brian got married.
ST:DS9 - Captain Sisko was widowed, the rest of the cast was single until Worf married Dax, then Dax was killed off.
ST: Voyager - Tuvox was married with children, the rest of the crew was single.

ST: Enterprise doens't count.

Hope that answers your question.

In our little story, everybody is single, Nemo is widowed. Notice a pattern here?

LOL! SO much for patience!

Alright, so I guess this means that those who have never heard of the thread have to read back as much as they can.

SO casting call is now OPEN. So far here is it as it stands...

- Role of the captain: Main role and needs to be filled. You have main control over the story.
- Commander Shell: SciFiGirl's character. lol! If she is unavailable you can play her. Make sure you know what kind of character she was!
- Commander Kanani Choy: That would be me. lol
- Lt. Greyfoot: Ray's character. Someone can fill in for him for now

Good grief I forget the rest. Haha. The doctor is a BORG I know that much. For the rest just read up.

Rules:

1) You must write in a narrative and dialog form. You have sole control over your own main character but you can also fill in for minor roles for other characters to make your story flow.

2) The Fan Club thread is the place to talk ABOUT the thread. Do not have side discussions about the show on the actual thread.

3) Read the beginning of the FAN thread to get descriptions of the characters. If you wanna play them, you gotta know them.

4) If you create a new character and be that new character you must give the name and description of your character. Before jumping into the story you gotta make yourself known.

5) Remember it's called "The Singles Generation" so elements of being single and also relationships are important.

6) Any questions as to how this whole thing works just PM me.

---

We had I think 4 "relationship" stories if I remember correctly. None of them hooked up completely but in a nutshell...

- Kanani and Kevin had that dance some years ago and she had a vision. He went all crazy and plotted to kill the Capt. God wanted to use Kanani to save Kevin and the last situation was that he was in Federation custody and awaiting trail. Kind of cliffhanged there.

- Ambassador Turnel (I think) was training Commander Shell in diplomatic relations. There was a hunch that he likes Shell by the captain.

- Lt. Greyfoot (Ray's character) was half human and half felonian and was starting to connect with Lt what's her name? Gee I forgot.

- Kanani, Captain's long time friend wanted the captain to explore dating again. She thought it would be good for him.

Other points: The USS Debit Card is on its way somewhere. I forgot where. LOL Just gotta read up. Yadda, yadda, yadda...

Hmm. Bumped but so far no replies.

Can't do it myself peeps. We need at least a new captain and a couple of other roles filled to make it work.

Omigosh! Captain your return made me realize that I forgot to check something for you. Sorry! Will do so soon and get back to ya.

All I can say after reading a few posts back is EEEK! Is it just me or did anyone think my old story posts here were a bit wierd? LOL! Eh, it's fiction anyway. It's ok to be wierd and completely unrealistic. Haha!

Of course you know that cap and I are the only ones left to write anything period? And shees, I forgot who the woman is who has an interest in Nemo. ?

You know, Trishy - we seem to have some NEW and rather creative types around here now - who are into the scifi stuff - so *maybe* we can convince them to join in - maybe we need to have a "chapter two" or something????? Let us kind of start from scratch and move ahead???

I'm PITIFUL at writing such things - so don't include me in that, but I'll stand in the background cheering loudly for those who do!!!!!
