I just had a root canal done yesterday. The procedure itself wasn't bad at all since the dentist did an awesome job. But now that the Novocaine has worn off, I am now experiencing extreme sensitivity on that tooth, and my jaw is sore!

WHINE! I just found out that the new company that bought my company wants 2 people at work at all times, including holidays. Up until now, only one person worked per shift on holidays. I work third shift, and there are only 2 of us all the time. That means no more holidays off, unless it's a regular day off. My co-worker thinks that it's just for first shift, but my 2nd shift co-worker that told me about it says it's for everyone.

Wow! There is a drug that is supposed to help me and I thought I was losing my mind. It was seradex prescribed for congestion. I was extremely nervous and paranoid and could not figure out what was wrong with me. I slept like a baby... but when I got to work and around people, I became hypersensitive.

I finally put two and two together and did not take it last night. I was my old self today. I checked it out on the internet and learned of the side-affects. It is a wonder I did not go postal.

So you didn't lose them in the game? How cool! I am one of those nasal folks who prefers homeopathic vs. medical but will sometimes include medical considering the problem.
Like I had no choice but to seek medical when my gall bladder went south of the border, but ask me about sinus infections, allergies and I can give you a slew of things that a doctor would rather just prescribe another med for.

Like allergies for example, I'm not sure how many people know this, especially for outdoor allergens.
If you consume 2 tbp. of local honey (it must be local, made in your area, check your local bee farmers) will naturally build your immunity for seasonal outdoor allergens.
Why? Because bees pollenate from the very thing you are allerigic to and it naturally builds your immunity. So instead of shots try this.
I would prefer this over shots any day

I'm a little down this morning,Saints. I got off work a little later than usual yesterday and was like 3 and a half hours late picking my wife up from work. Needless to say she's still mad at me. The tension is so thick in our house right now, you could slice it like a piece of sweet potatoe pie.

Hmph. Let me talk to her. I'll tell her what it's like to live WITHOUT a husband to even care if you get picked up at all. I'll explain it in lurid detail. You'll be back in good graces lickety-split!

*sigh*

12 years ago today (May 5th), the day the Japanese recognize as "Children's Day", my father hung himself in our garage.

I would really like to make happier memories of this day, instead of having to label the day as, "the day my dad committed suicide" day. If I wasn't working all day, I would do something with my kids to make good memories.

Thank you everyone!

I managed to get through the day without feeling depressed! :)

Instead, I found myself thinking a lot about the kids, their smiles and how much the Lord has healed me of the wounds from that terrible day, through them.

But one thing that annoyed me was that I also kept getting reminded every now and then throughout the day, like someone poking me with thoughts that 5/5 is a "sad" day.

Because it was and you lost someone dear to you. It's ok to be sad and reflect on our loss. I think sometimes we christians think we need to "buck up and move on." when Eccl. says, a time to be sad, a time to mourn ... .

Great teaching on Sunday and in the middle of my reflecting one of the worship leaders starts telling us to sing lounder so she can her us. Why can't we just have quite reflective time instead of leaving all pumped up?

There is a coworker who is cranky as all get out and feels that the entire office needs to suffer as a result of her foul mood.
