Hey wow...some of your stuff is quite good. I really like the alignment of your poem Scorch. (The poem itself it quite good also!) Keep up the good work! Amy.

Oooooo!! "Share What You've Written" still lives! I'm turning 23 soon, and I'm happy to see that I still live on in the Teens folder. I haven't written much lately, but I should post some. Old stuff is here, though.

Wrote this on the spot the other day in the Writer's forums here. Just 'cause I haven't written anything in a long time. I'm not particularly fond of it, but you've got to start (again) somewhere. Reengage Shaky legs unsure, disused step out in faith again Pupils shrink in brightest light we see the sun again Voices raise in telling truth We're praising Him again Hands clasped on bended knee We're list'ning once again Guilt flee and pain dissolve We're finding grace again.

Short, random sermon-type-dealy. It wasn't intended as such, I was just writing something out to help someone with their problems, but I thought I'd share nonetheless. Maybe some random user will find it helpful. Emotional hormones, specifically at this age, tend to bounce off the walls in dramatic form. These emotions cause different reactions depending on one's feelings. In multiple cases, you can use self-mutilation as an outlet of escape. Whereby the emotion is unknown, your feelings become messed up, and self-mutilation is the result of that. We was given foreknowledge and the capability of control to overcome these things as they present themselves in our lives. 2 Peter 1:3-5 3 His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and goodness. 4Through these He has given us His very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires. What exactly has He promised? 1 John 2:24-26 24 See that what you have heard from the beginning remains in you. If it does, you also will remain in the Son and in the Father. 25And this is what He promised us—even eternal life. 26I am writing these things to you about those who are trying to lead you astray. Everyday is a new day and also a new battle. Our arch nemesis, the father of lies, will tempt, torment, and delude you by any means possible. Ways he does this are innumerable. Forms of addictions, obsessions, harming oneself, sexual sin, all those forms are included. We, ourselves, cannot stand up to the battle of sin on our own given strength, we are flesh, therefore weak. Paul wrote about just how weak the human state is when absent of God's strength, in saying, "For the foolishness of God is wiser than man's wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than man's strength." Which says even the lesser of God's knowledge, wisdom, and strength is numerically significant than the wisest, most strong human. Acquiring His strength in our lives is about taking a step off the edge of faith, and freefalling in knowing that, though we have a sin problem, He in His entirety is flawless. If we accept that we can move a mountain solely in our own strength, we've also accepted no hope. No hope paves the pathway to many different ruinations. It's the root that sprouts branches of depression, apathy, and loneliness. It is sailing to the ends of the earth in expectation to fall. It is the emotion that drives us to harm ourselves instead of others, yet we can't grasp why exaclty we do this. Consciously, a decision is made, our minds react to that decision with our actions. Actions brings consequences that are often regretted. With such regret comes the lack of hope. How do you get hope? 1 Peter 1:3-7 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade—kept in heaven for you, 5who through faith are shielded by God's power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time. 6In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. 7These have come so that your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed. Faith is the substance for which is hoped for, and of that which is unseen. Without faith, there is no hope. Without the invisible, nothing can be seen.

Wow, Whisper, I really like it! I like the... form(I don't remember the correct word to use!), it's really cool. Aww, thanks, Rae! It's really been too long since I've written last. My boyfriend Jeremy and I just celebrated 2 years of dating, and went on a very fun date - I really should write something while I'm still in a euphoric state :).

Here's just a short little poemish thing. it's kinda like a dialogue. just wrote it when i was spendin some time with God. idk if its good or not. but enjoy :] you said "come" i said "i'm scared" you said "i'm here" i said "how do i know you won't leave me?" you said "have faith" As i stepped out onto the water, I slowly pu tone foot after teh other. I just concentrated on You. Steady, i was walking. Slowly my mind started to drift I saw the view of this world i saw thousands of miles of water beneath i thought "i can't do this" i started to sink. the water started to pull me n. In desperation I called out "Jesus!" what i saw through the chaos was your hand reaching out to me you pulled me into you confused and angry, i said "why did you let that happen?!" you said "you lost faith" i said "so why did you rescue me?" you said "you cried out"

awesomeness girl, keep it up! most of my stuff I write when I'm talking to God as well.. quote:
Reengage Shaky legs unsure, disused step out in faith again Pupils shrink in brightest light we see the sun again Voices raise in telling truth We're praising Him again Hands clasped on bended knee We're list'ning once again Guilt flee and pain dissolve We're finding grace again. ((Jill)) awesome! It's been awhile since I've seen you, what's up? --__--__--__-- here's a song I wrote... I Am Here I see you sitting there Broken and all alone you think no one hears you you think no one knows I can see your heart but don't be afraid You scream in the dark Let me wash away your pain I come running when you call to me When you pray to me you cry to me clinging to me loving me reaching for me I am here In silence you're waiting from the tear drops on your face you can't hear the birds singing You can't hear the peaceful rain I come running to hold you because I hate to see you cry My heart is bleeding for you you can't see me with your blind eyes You're running to me searching for me you reached for me trembling before me you believed in me clinging to me sining to me I am here Open up and see Your pure in my sight You don't have to be something in their eyes look in this reflection you're a mirror of the light walk in this direction I'm right by your side cause I came for you I found you I reached for you I believed in you bleed for you died for you I am here
