Hi Melissa. I love your avatar. How in the world did you get your cat in your computer?
I a long time ago had a cat then my kids decided they didn't like him and got rid of him. Hubby didn't like him either. The cat loved me and didn't like the rest of my family.

Yep, with my high speed connection and mostly dribble, I was able get through in even less than that time.

I'm hurting tonight, but otherwise okay. My relative and I are looking for a new place to live and packing to move asap. We're dealing with relatives who love money more than family. They want us to move out of the house asap so that they can get the house fixed up, sold and receive their share of the inheritance.
While I agree that they are entitled to this money, giving us only 30 days to find a new place, telling us that we're making no progress, even though there are boxes all over the place and harassing us about not finding a place already, because we keep running into roadblocks, just makes for a stressful situation. We've lived here for 30 years taking care of my elderly relatives and my relatives are like, forget about us, they want their god--money.

That is horrible, Melissa. I'd forgotten you were going through that mess. You can't do it in thirty days! You're grieving! Where would you find the energy? It would be impossible to do it in 30 days even if you were healthy, well and not grieving at all. That's just too fast. And I suppose you can't afford a lawyer to argue the point for you. Could you go to their lawyer and explain the problem? He might knock some sense into them. {{{{{{{{{{{Melissa}}}}}}}}}}}} I think they should give you a year. Rent-free, even!
Have you found a place? Where are you in the process? How much more of the 30 days do you have left?

We went looking at mobile homes today. We saw a good one that turned out to be beyond our means, but it made the houses on HGTV look wan.
A friend of mine who has a attorney says that they cannot do it either, but they can sure make our lives a living TOS if we don't move out by April 15, the original 30 day date. They started harassing us about April 1st, trying to tell us that we were supposed to be out of the house, but we reminded them that they said 30 days, not 15.
Meanwhile, my faith in God is being tested more and more each day. I need His strength now more than ever.

Perhaps if they were sent a letter from an attorney, giving them that information, they would back off. Their unjust behaviour and demands makes me angry.
