So when you're going off to buy something new (tv, computer, printer, whatever) do you ever haggle?

Only if we can pay cash on a large purchase, it does get you a discount on occasion.

For larger amounts... yes. Usually I end up buying on-line but if I am inclined to buy in a store I will at least ask -- is that the best price you can offer? are there any promotions or discounts? Not classic "haggling" per se, but it's easy enough to ask. You can figure out pretty quick if the person you are talking to can discount or not.
The key thing is knowing what prices are possible up front. The Internet is great for that.

Not generally on 'base' price but like demo/floor models or 'extras' I might(try to)bargain depending on what it is.

I don't haggle because I'm not good at it, however, my husband does for every large purchase. He does it for all the major stores and tells each store he is shopping around and how much each store is charging. Some stores lower the price, others throw in accessory items, upgrades, warranties, etc.

Haggling at major retail stores has been changing in very recent years, but especially since the advent of researching prices on the internet. I have read in the newspapers and online that some stores will actually honor a lower price if you say that a crosstown store had it on sale for a lower price than what they are selling it for. I have heard that places are much more prone to a lets make a deal as well.

There was a deparment store that was able to advertise 'Never knowingly undersold' and would offer people £5 if they found a product the shop sold cheaper locally elsewhere ~ you didn't need to buy the product. That was pre-internet days and they no longer do that. They will match prices though.
There's at least 1 shop who will price match and then give an additional 10% of the difference if you find something you've bought cheaper. I phoned them about something and they told me they would match the price but they would take into account the delivery charges the other shop charged (which were none).

MARRIED TO A MILITARY PILOT ~ PLEASE PRAY FOR OUR TROOPS! 
I told him, we'll pay you the price that KBB says this car is worth plus the extra stuff the dealership added that's all. We got the car for $600 over our price.
He would just pay sticker for everything.
