sort of like a One Stop holiday thread? Perish the thought! I can't believe one is actually asking for a one stop!

No one has started bashing Christmas yet?

Duh, I just peeked into the Christmas is for Turkeys thread and saw what it was about. I hadn't read it because I thought it was about turkeys.

Good idea, QT! Shall we discuss the sinfullness of the next holiday --

Let's see:
We missed National Deviled Egg Day (that would have been a good one! Wonder if there's an Angel Food Cake day!) Nov 2
We missed Housewife's Day (oo-oo-oo!) Nov 3
Oh, WOW!!! Let's discuss National Bittersweet Chocolate With Almonds Day -- no kidding! It's November 7th! http://www.holidayinsights.com/moreholidays/November/bittersweetchocolateday.htm

We Can Do This!

Ha! And it was started even before this one!

Nov. 5th is Guy Fawkes Night. I understand that the festivities are centerd on the use of fireworks and the lighting of bonfires.

Kath that was my pitiful attempt at humor. But, it sure would make it easier to find during every hoilday.

Plus I wouldn't have to keep my posts in a word document for next year. I could just quote myself when the same old same old came up.

Plus it would make it easier on Kath. If she had to admonish someone she could just hit the quote buttton on her last admonishment. Makes life so simple. Shoot if we get good enough at this we could just reference numbers. "Please see # 708." That is much easier than typing a lot again.

We really only need about 10 posts. They could just endlessly circle around and repeat.

National Bittersweet Chocolate With Almonds Day

It's November 7th!

This was probably the most important thing in this entire discussion.

Whenever I need a laugh, I can count on you guys!!!

This thread is like those pesky dandelions that keep polka dotting my verdant lawn with small cheery bursts of happy yellow .... fun, festive and hard to kill.

For the record, I remain 100% in favor of dark chocolate with almonds.

For any newcomers to this thread, in the interests of full disclosure I must admit that the beginning poll has been recently edited by yours truly.

I could not pick out just one category so I voted for all of them.

Me and my grandkids ate all the candy this year so there shall be no more candy coated holidays!
