be pain-free for her mom and ask that You hold both of them close to Your

Update:
Mom is doing even worse. Even weaker and the pain is worse as is the wounds. She's on the morphine now and it does seem to help the pain more... at least for a little while. Answering questions even less now. It seems to me, barely hanging on. I don't think it will be long now.
My oldest son is getting married tomorrow. They had moved the date up hopeing she could be there, but of course that is not to be, but they plan to come see her after the wedding. I'm not able to feel any joy about the wedding with what is going on, but I'm happy they have found each other. My sister has offered to stay with mom so that I can go to the wedding, and she will be staying for a little while. That is a blessing.
Oh Father, You know the pain that is in our hearts, for You gave up Your Son for us. Please comfort us at this time. Thank You for the peace You give us at times. For the strength to get through each day. For the comfort of others. And thank You that while we can't understand, we can trust in You. I love You Lord, You are my rock.
Please ease mom's pain. Please fill her with Your peace. Help her Lord in every way that You know is best. And help each of us and draw us closer to You. In Jesus name I ask. Amen

Father, I join sparkleingsnow in prayer for her family. I pray she is able to experience a bit of joy attending her son's wedding. Thank You for being her rock, her refuge, her strength in these difficult times. Remind her that allthough she may feel helpless right now, she still has hope. Her hope is in You, trusting that You are in control. I pray for Thy mercy on this mother. I lift her up to You, believing that You feel her pain. We know that she is in Your loving arms. I give You praise and ask that You bless them with a special annointing of Thy spirit. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen

I knew yesterday we were close. This morning when mom woke up she has that raddle and while awake is only responing to pain. Dad and my daughter are here and my sister is on the way. We will remian at the bedside.
