Hey, good idea for a thread! I hope we all take a moment to pray over the requests daily.
For us -
Wisdom for hubby and I when it comes to our finances, patience to endure walking through this wasteland, and the faith to keep walking. I'm so weary.
I have requests about our kids - Dana, Nathan, and Jacob - that I don't want to put into words.

The bullying situation with DS. My hubby's company's financial situation, this is a prayer and praise because God has been providing each month as needed.
Praise that my youngest daughter's school seems to be a great fit and our oldest is transitioning ok into high school.
Thanks for starting this thread.

praise that our school week went a lot better than Monday morning!
Praise that our garage sale was okay - could have been better, but I'm not complaining. Now I get to bless someone via freecycle with a lot of little boy and little girl clothes and bless a local Project Reads program with a bunch of gently used books!
Praise that my FIL, bless his heart, is trying like crazy to fix our electrical problem in the garage.
Prayer for my brother and SIL as they work towards closing on the house of their dreams! Their offer was accepted and now tentative pending inspection. This has my SIL and brother quite nervous as this will be their first house.

Praying for everyone.
I, too, request for prayer for my husband to find a job, he lost his three weeks ago without any warning.
A 16 year old girl in my daughter's class was killed in a car accident on Thursday. Pray for her family as they go through this difficult time. Also pray for her friend who was driving the car and her family as she has to deal with the grief and guilt of what has happened.
Pray my children will remain focused on school during our time of being out of work. We will move if need be but my prayer is that he will find a job the does not require the kids to have to leave their school.
For my daughter who is in college that we can figure out how we will pay for her to stay in college.

I'm praying for all these requests. Thanks for starting this thread Deb!
Pray that my son-in-law gets a job soon.
Pray that my freshman will find things she is interested in and activities to participate in during HS--that'll she be doing what God wants her to do and hold strong to her faith while doing it. Praise for her maturity and desire to do well in school.
Praise that my son is off to a good start in middle school, and prayers that it will continue.
My kindergartener--I want her to do the right thing because it makes Jesus happy, not so she'll get a "fish." (paper fish with what she did right written on it, and posted) Or any other tangible reward.

Sometimes this takes time. ;)
Anyway -
For Aryn - she is complaining of ear pain again. We'll see if she makes it through tomorrow at school and if we have to we'll take her to see the doc.
Pray for tomorrow as it is already a busy day and if I have to take Aryn to the doc it's going to be even busier.
Continued prayer on the job front. We both have applications in at various places and are looking to do more.
Continued prayer for us to find a church that fits - this new one is looking good.

I usually don't do this and I'm reluctant to do so now, but I need to ask for prayers for myself. I am in a very, very bad place mentally and emotionally right now and if I stay here much longer, I'm not going to make it.

I will be praying Danas_mom!
I have a BIG praise to share! My cousin whose spent the last 5 1/2 weeks in ICU after a car accident that should have killed him has been transferred out or ICU and into what is called the Trauma Ward! I wrote more about it in the Prayer and praise forums!

Requests:
Safe travel for my dh as he leaves today on a 2 day journey to a temporary job.
That all works out well at the new job.
That all the details of this assignment (both work and living) work out well.
For myself and children (2 grown/1 young'un) as we are on our own.
