mapachito. did you read where Tomlin said he has interest in Vick? was in today's USAToday I personally would love to see Vick as a slot reciever for Steelers, also do return duties and play backup RB. Heaven knows Parker has a glass body. He would be an assett. after all he did pay his dues. I still think this country is messed up when people kill others((hello Dante Stallworth, Ray Lewis,)) and get a slap on wrist. kill an animal and condemmed for life.

Maybe he knows he can get a quality QB for peanuts to back-up Big Ben but I wouldn't put all my eggs into his basket. Big Ben is the QB I'd want handling the ball because even if his stats won't say he's the best, he know how to win games and has the grit of another not so great QB by the name of Terry Bradshawe. The Steeler organization would be better for Vick at this time than it would be for them. I think they already have decent back-ups that know how to play the system.

kordell is a sad excuse for a player. one of the reasons a gloried college player can sometimes prove to be a washout in NFL. Ben is the best 2 minute QB in the game at this time. He can put up the numbers if need be. hello. check his college stats at Miami Oh. I wouldnt play vick at QB. his speed, his agility, thats a return/reciever/rb type moves. he cant pass great and would want to just run. let him return kicks first year while learn a system

oh ye of limited knowledge. I will still take Ben over Peyton. and you who looks up to a 1 team conference calling it superior to the powerhouses of the other areas. but take your limited knowledge to the college thread for that. Peyton is good yes. but I will take Ben because he has proven last few years he can pull them out in clutch situations. no one will be a clutch QB along lines of Elway or Montana but he pulled out the vast majority of ones he needed.

Manning is a great QB but I would still rather have Ben in the final two minutes. Now Ben vs. Brady... I'm a lifelong Steeler fan and I'm not going to go there but I don't see how you could go wrong with either.

Funny thing is, Mapachito, the Lions fans are used to this. After, all, they were 4-0 in last year's pre-season . . . before the nightmare regular season began.

Cleveland and Washington seem to have a depth problem on their rosters. They couldn't even get a field goal in week 1. Cleveland doesn't have a strong first string so the Dawg Pound is going to be in another years of Dawg Days.

ORIGINAL: mapachito13 He might not be as mobile as he once was or he is a little of those angry looking men on the other side of the field. If by mobile you meant a running threat, Brady was never that. I'm guessing a Dan Marino-like ability to move just enough to avoid a sack. What's going on with Oakland and this report I'm hearing about Tom Cable having punched an assistant? Shades of Buddy Ryan v. Kevin Gilbride?
