Reading this forum makes my head spin...could I get a theology check, please? Raise your hand if you believe in Jesus Christ as written about in the King James Version of the Holy Bible (just for clarification purposes, not trying to advocate any particular translation) and as understood from the Apostles Creed. A simple yes or no or raising of the hand please... *raises hand*

Right hand UP. Left hand over eyes, keeping watch.

YES! Both hands up in praise to the personal Creator of the universe and me. quote:
Reading this forum makes my head spin...could I get a theology check, please? Hi, nmf! The relative proportion of agno-atheists posting more or less regularly on this S&O Forum is vastly greater than any other Theology Forum. I assume it's because they realize they have nothing worthwhile to post on any other "theology" threads or that sustained arguments against sound Christian doctrine would be quickly disciplined by the mods. Frankly, most sustained arguments by evolutionists posting here violate sound Christian doctrine, but we seem to have a more lenient approach to the theology of Science and Origins. Please tell me why you're "head is spinning". Surely you know that modern "science" has become little more than a bully pulpit for agno-atheists to brainwash our public school children! Why would it be any different on a public discussion forum?

I am an atheist now. If it's the argument I'm thinking of, consider I also do not believe the planet Krypton exists either.

Yes (although I doubt we agree on exactly how historically reliable the gospels are).

Brothers, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth. But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. He chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are The beautiful paradox of God: bringing low the arrogant, and the elitist.

I'm sure that there are tens of thousands of palistians that would argue this point. But just because its call Isreal, doesn't mean its Gods Isreal....I think you gloss over this point.

You ever had one of those moments where you think you know exactly how to respond to someone, you stand up, puff out your chest, throw your finger in the person's face, take a breath and open your mouth to unload your mind--- and suddenly realize that they had made a decent argument... and you have no idea what to say?

Not to play moderator or anything - but nealmorsefan asked about who's a Christian, not wether Israel is the biblical Israel. Topic? So far I'm the only one who's a non-Christian. Which makes me wonder why Yee all argue so much :-p WormHeart
