I have a friend who has two mottos:

(1) Don't sweat the small stuff.

(2) It's all small stuff.

How does this look? I'm playing "fun with fonts".

Looks just like Arial to me. The fancy fonts are only good if they are installed on the PC that is viewing it and Lucida Handwriting isn't on mine. The ones in the pulldown list are about the most standard. I think "Georgia" is also on most computers.

Okay, as long as it looks okay and isn't some garbled junk.

I ordered a pepperoni-lover's pizza. Yum!

It looks like the above to me (but with the color).

Oh, I forgot to say, I'm seeing the pretty font, Pam.

And can I come over for pizza?

Okay, there's plenty, they don't deliver anything smaller than a medium. But that means no leftovers for tomorrow. But I'd rather have your company!

Pam, I see your font, too.

I know I edit my posts pretty fast, so I'm surprised to see the edited by notice on the bottom of them.

I don't like it, I like my posts to look nice.

I think I'll start editing all my posts just to annoy myself with the edited by at the bottom... I really dislike it.

Pam, your font is pretty. And I think I can smell pizza now.

Edit: Just because

Now that's a sweet thing to say! Thanks! I think we'd have a grand time even with no pizza.

I have found that I am less irritated by the message edited thing when I make some snarky comment related to why I edited my original message...

I've also found that in Theo, people get quite paranoid about edited posts so sometimes it can be fun to not say anything at all...

I HATE the bug on the system that allows you one very quick edit before it throws the "<Message edited...>. There are two different clocks going on, one for the post and another for edits and they give you about a minute instead of 5 to make correction.

ARGHHH!

I know, I'm sweating this petty stuff instead of petting the sweaty stuff.

It irks me, too, Euty. I almost always have to edit to either fix something or add something after I've posted no matter how many times I preview. I don't like the messy little message at the bottom of my pretty posts that I work so hard on.

You folks do know that if the "edited" message comes up, you can just copy the part that you want to save, delete the post, and paste the message into a brand new post, don't you?

Same here. I lurk sometime just to keep up a little, but life has been crazy so it is hard to really keep up. Today Nadine and I will be busy enjoying the day at Disney world!

Uhm, no actually. I'd never thought of that.

If CW ever gets straightened out that I'm not constantly timing out every time I try to do anything, I'm going to remember that. I amuse myself sometimes by deleting and reposting only to find that someone replied to my original post and it's all out of order then.

Mah hunny and I are talking to his sister and BIL about going to Disney next year and I'm like...hmmm....do we want to take the boys???

But I decided yes. Thing 1 finally wants to ride rollercoasters so I better take advantage of this while I can.

Has anyone seen the new "Let's Make a Deal" with Wayne Brady? When I first heard of this, I didn't think anyone else could do that. And I never cared too much for the show even with Monty Hall.

But I love Wayne Brady. I have the show on now just for him.

Maybe I will pass this little gem of wisdom on in here.

An Old Indian overheard talking about Daylight Savaings time.

"Only the Government would think you can cut a foot off the top of a blanket, sew it onto the bottom of the blanket and end up with a longer blanket"

I think he pretty much has a handle on the situation.

There's some evidence it actually had the opposite effect from the one intended. Seems like when you cut the end off the one blanket and sew it to the other end, you get a shorter blanket.

I haven't seen the show, Pam. It took me till this afternoon to remember who Wayne Brady is. I used to love Whose Line Is It Anyway? He's a funny guy.

Hiya BT
I don't think the government has any spatial intelligence.

I have to work the dumb concession stand for the varsity football game tonight. I already had an insanely busy day at work (Thank you God!) and I think I'm tired of feeding people now.
