Once in awhile I would--mostly family and friends. It was just becoming the thing for guys to have their hair "styled" when I stopped doing hair.

I had a great day. The weather was super for walking which I did quite a bit of.

Just took brownies out of the oven and while they are cooling think I will get my jamas on and watch a movie. Big Fish. Have you seen it? Also have Hide and Seek but that is a scary one and I am not in the mood for scary.

How have you been feeling, Mike? Have been praying for peace and quiet for you.

Hi There Divabrat, I never heard of the movie at all, but it reminds me of Don Knots film "The Fish and Mr. Limpet instead."

I never really had my hair "styled" per say, but I tend to go to places such as Super Cuts as opposed to a traditional barber instead, go figure.

My day is going ok, it has been quiet although I did have some anxiety earlier. Now I am just feeling rather gloomy.

Hey Mike

Big Fish was ok. It is a Tim Burton movie so a bit off the wall.

Sorry bout you feeling gloomy. Are you affected by the weather? I actually like cloudy rainy days. They make me feel cozy--unless I have to be out and about all day.

My day was good. Although things that need to be done aren't done. I went for a walk and read the paper and ate and visited with some neighbors.

Now I am on the puter and I really need to finish my study and get some crocheting done.

So I am off--see ya later.

Hi There Patricia, I am just in another rut, but my level of anxiety has increased more recently. The last time it was this high was just before I ended up in the hospital back in June of this year (for a physical reason.) I am really hoping that this phase passes real soon!

Pretty good. Exhausted though. My niece came to visit on Wednesday and left Saturday evening after 9:00 PM. I'm not used to having overnight visitors and was a little uptight before she came, but we ended up having a good visit. It's probably going to take a few takes to get rested up.

Hope you have a good week Mike.

Anxiety is definitely the pits!

Over the years I have found some little things that help me.

But mostly I have to make myself stay busy and not spend too much time alone.

The alone thing is the hardest cause I like being alone most of the time--I think I could be a hermit.

But I have some great friends that help get me out and about.

I liked that one too.

So many movies and books--so little time.

Work and stuff gets in the way of such pleasurable pastimes.

'Evening DivaBrat and all... movie night, huh Diva? I'm not much of a movie person, but I do like rainy days too - more if I can stay inside if I want to, but even if I have to get out I don't mind if it's not too cold... this time of year though that's not too likely!

Hi Gma and Giggles,

I am kinda cheap so I rarely go out to a movie. I get them at the library that way if I don't like it I don't feel like I have wasted a bunch of money. I have seen some pretty obscure films and lots of really good ones that nobody has heard of.

It is still pretty warm here. Cools at night then there is lots of fog in the morning. We had a good bit of rain from the fringes of Ida.

Tomorrow I am going to the Christmas Classic Craft Show. I love this show. Won't buy much of anything but love to wander around and see the stuff. But I don't like the crowds. Oh well can't have everything the way I want it.

Then Saturday I am going to do some painting and touch up stuff. Also will work on some Christmas gifts. Just the kind of day I like.

Any plans in your worlds?

I think that is a freebee on my on demand cable system. Perhaps I should go check it out?

Hi All, I had to go home from work yesterday as my back and leg started bothering me. I had to stay home from work again today as well. This has made me anxious even more! With missing much work this week (I took Monday off from not feeling well too) and loss of pay, things could be much better!

There is one of the larger, nicer craft shows going on around here this weekend too, however I don't think I'll be going.

I have been helping my Godmother move... if I don't stay home and do something around here pretty soon I'll have to move out because it's such a mess I can't live here!!

So, as you can probably tell, my weekend plan is cleaning!

Hi Kerr--there is coffee here somewhere. I don't drink the stuff but keep it on hand for those who do. But ya gotta make yer own.

Hi Mike--so sorry you are having a difficult time of it. Is this time of year bad for you? Lots of people find the holidays hard. I have to be careful during this season cause I can get a bit depressed.

Gma--your Godmother is blessed to have you caring for her. What a help you are to her.

I could come help you clean. I actually kinda like cleaning. Getting motivated to do it is a problem but once I start I like it.

I had a really nice day.

Had lunch with a friend I have not seen in awhile. Was nice to catch up with her and eat some good food.

Then went to the craft show with another friend. There were several new exhibitors this year. I did not buy anything--I am on a spending freeze--essentials only But I had fun looking at all the creative peeps' creations.

Tomorrow is another day. I am going to do some minor fix ups around here that I have been putting off.

But that could change at a ring of the phone

Good Evening Divabrat, I really do not know what it is. I have been in a rut off and on all this year.

Well Mike you have had quite a year of physical and mental stress. It is easy to give advise and all that but sometimes even the best of advise is not what is needed. Just know that many are praying for you and we are told not to be afraid...our prayer has been heard. So be prepared--there is a mighty work being done in your life.

Okay --that sounded like advise--sorry couldn't help myself.

Hey Mike--you posted here 2 hours after I went to bed.

Have I mentioned I am a night owl?

Hi Divabrat, I believe it now!

I could not sleep too well last night. I avoided going on forums because truth be told, they are much more fun for me if I have a lot of subs as opposed to a few. It keeps me occupied!

Diva, if you like cleaning, you are welcome here anytime!!!

I got the kitchen whipped into shape yesterday, but don't feel very good today. I think the cold/flu bug my whole family has had finally found me too. So, I'm feeling lousy and just watching TV and seeing who's around CW today.

Hi Mike--I am trying to spend less time on the computer these days--not too successfully tho. Since I no longer have TV it seems the computer has taken its place in the time realm.

Gma--so sorry you are feeling badly. Maybe you are just pooped from the moving work you have done.

Take it easy and don't let the flu bug bite.

It is almost 4pm and so far I have read the paper had a PB&J sammich and played here. So much for getting what needs to be done --well--done.
