can someone suggest an AWESOME christmas song that is CHRIST CENTERED (not jingle bells) by a christian artist thats not an artist on the top 10 ccm charts (like not chris tomlin)?
something cool, maybe rockin, or different like techno. some examples so far:
o holy night - barlowgirl | rock/pop rock
silent night - sixpence none the richer | pop/alternative
what child is this? - joy electric | electro

Well this will be an oldie but if you like classic rock styled music the Compassion All Star Band did a cover of The Band's "Christmas Must Be Tonight" that I always loved.

Got the PERFECT one for you. Little Drummer Boy by Audio Adrenaline. I've never heard some much eletric guitar used in a Christmas song!

OK the older music lover is back here to enrich all you divinely inspired rockers. I heard Amy Grant on 20countdown.com as they featured her Christmas collection on their 2 hour show, aired here over UCB Canada. Anyone here from London, Sarnia, or Chattam Ontario? If so, love your UCB Canada! Also this year, the Jars of Clay rendering of It Came Upon a Midnight Clear was advice to me to sit by the road (figuratively) and hear the angels say, Likely fear not, was their pronouncement! One you won't find on the T10 CCM is The Messiah by Handel, the solos right from scripture and the music and overall orchestration is quite worshipful in my opinion.. Rock on folks, love all of ya..
