That my family is still alive for this holiday. This will not be the case next year.

Thank you for this thread G-n-M! Thanksgiving has always been my favorite holiday as well. There's very little pressure, just food, friends, family, fun, and football! What could be better!?
I'm certainly thankful to have my son, I'm thankful that we're both getting better, I'm thankful that I can see a "new normal" arriving, I'm thankful for my friends and family, and I'm thankful that I know Jesus Christ and that he has carried me through the awful circumstances of my life this year.

I am thankful that the Lord took me through the Fires/Furnace in 2008, as it allowed me to grow in him and with him, it tested me and it showed my kids whats really important in life.
It showed them that the path is not always easy or painless. It showed me where my allegiances are, as the catastrohic events in your life seem to really test what your made of and show you and others how solid your faith is and who you rely on when times are tough.
it also showed me who my true friends are and those that are not/were not real friends.

I'm thankful for the Girl, and for all the good things God has put into my life.
I'm thankful for the folks new house (they closed yesterday).
I'm thankful for my work and for getting to stay home for a couple weeks.
And I'm thankful for my salvation. I shudder to think where I'd be now without Jesus.

A few which come to mind...........
I am so thankful God shared with me what he was going to do in my life, before I understood what it all entailed, and how the confirmation of what he showed me, being walked in out in the present according to His plans,has given me the strength to keep going..............I can't tell you how many times I take out the letter, which I carry in my purse, where he shared how hard this time was going to be as well as what he was going to do through it........each time I read it I am so very thankful God let me know ahead of time what was coming.........it is comforting to be reminded, though I may be surprised by circumstances, he is not.
I am so thankful God has been teaching me to walk under open heavens
I am so thankful for the freedom he has given me
I am so thankful for three beautiful little girls who light up my life
I am so thankful for joy, peace, laughter, love and hope
I am so thankful for an imperfect family who loves with an imperfect love perfectly.
I am so thankful I am and God is I AM.

I am thankful that God spared our dog after liver failure -- she is recovering well enough to be her usually hyperkinetic self again!
I am thankful for a best job of my life; 5 years ago, I would have never known that God would bless me like this.
I am thankful that I lost 26 lbs over the last 5 months!
I am extremely grateful for great family members.
I am thankful for a new hobby that tests my patience and temperance--golf is like that!

I'm thankful for my family. We're all kind of struggling in one way because of the tragic way we lost a family member just a couple months ago but I think it has caused us to draw closer to each other and to cherish each other even more. I'm thankful that God chose these people to be my family.
And I'm thankful for my new home which I love and feel very peaceful in.
I'm also very thankful for a refreshing I have been feeling in my heart lately. I am feeling joy again!
I pray you all have a fantabulous Thanksgiving celebration tomorrow!

Hey, I resemble that remark.
Just have to say that I am so incredibly thankful and blessed for all that God has done in my life through some people from here. This place has been a source of many emotions this year - some good, some bad. I am choosing to forget the bad and focus on the good. So many people have touched my life in ways you'll never know. Thank you.
I'm additionally thankful for the chance to get to know many new people in the coming days/weeks/months.

I'm going to join in and say that I'm very thankful for my friends in here!! You have all been a tremendous blessing to me over the past year (and more) and have been a source of encouragement and strength. Even as you lifted others up, I was blessed. Your love for the Lord and willingness to serve Him has been apparent in all you say and do.

I'm thankful for the fact that even when I feel like I have nobody else in the world on my side, the Lord is always there. Even when it looks like I have nowhere to go and no way to take care of myself he provides and paves the way to many blessings. :)
