False: Barack has admitted that because of his book sales, he is in that $250,000+
True: They had that figure covered way before any book was published.

Eh... They were hovering right around $250K in the 5 years before the book - some years were over; some years were under.

Drum Roll- Michelle should have responded " It has not had any effect at all." I mean people grocries are higher, electric bills, gas. I do not trust someone, who says they are main street smart, care so much, and cannot respond to a simple question.

And you would have been critical of that.

Are they? See I don't really see the affect yet either because my wife and I haev changed the way we shopped from last year. right now we are spending less on food by about 80 bucks per month because we went from shopping daily to shopping weekly. If you look at my electric bills from the last 6 month trailing we have used less energy and pay less than last year. Really the only thing I am spending more money on is gas and that has gone down almost a dollar in the last 3 months, but I haven't changed my driving habits so now I am saving money there too.

I say that to say that everyone is affected differently. My wife couldn't tell you how the economy has affected the household budget. She knows the bills are getting paid and she knows the saving account is growing. She knows that we have more money than last year extra when neither of us got a raise and nothing has went down.

I am not for Obama, but I don't think from the answer to question you can state that she is not in touch with main street as if all the rest are in touch with main street.

Exactly what I said, they almost made it in 2000, then went over in 2001. It wasn't his book sales that made them go way over, as his wife's salary alone covered it by 2005.

Between 2000 and 2004, the Obama's earned about $1,200,000 and gave less than one percent to charity.

His brother lives in shack in a crime and disease infested slum.

Michelle did answer the question. She just did not answer it the way *you* wanted her to or the way you thought she should have. That is not Michelle's fault.

Last night on Larry King Michelle Obama was the guest. I will say she acted, the key word "acted" in a gracious manner. The kicker was Larry ask Michelle how the current stock market, banking collapse, ordeal had impacted the Obamas personally, she looked dazed, and said something to the effect, she did not know they, had been so busy, on the campaign trail, they had not talked about their finances. Now if this would have been old Katie and Sarah there would have been poll, a bunch of SNL skits, Anderson Cooper, and team analyzing it to death, and so on, and on.

IF Michelle was running for VP.
Did they dump Biden?!

Otherwise, your premise is bogus.
