one of my all time best friends was a woman. Neither one of us wanted anything more or less than each others friendship. when she got married, she asked me to be her maid of honor (I hope she was joking) and that is when we discovered that her soon to be hubby was a little jealous of our friendship. I only wanted God's best for her and understood that the friendship we had would diminish. I still think of her as a great friend, but Christmas card exchanges are about the extent of things.

I believe that a man can, however, a man must put his wife's wishes and desires before his own. If his wife is not comfortable with his relationship with another woman, he must do everything to make her feel secure in it even if it means giving up that friendship. Just my 2 cents.
