quote:
ORIGINAL: Acts520 Father, I ask all brothers and sisters in the Lord to join me in praying for Robert Mugabe, President of Zimbabwe by sending a post card expressing God's love for him. May his heart turn to you, may prosperity be restored to that land and may You be glorified through it all! We rarely pray for people we don't like, yet God's instructions are clear: "I want men everywhere to lift up holy hands in prayer, without anger or disputing." 1 Tim. 2:8 Link:Holy Hands for Mugabe A Maximum size: 6 inches long by 4-1/4 inches high card sent to the domestic U.S. address given costs 27 cents. That gets this message to the Zim embassy office(?) here in DC. USPS Postage Price Calculator I think I found that much change under my not-so-La-Z-Boy recliner last time I vacuumed. Hmmm... I'm in. What a powerful little family project one day- kids see if they've got 27 cents on their bedroom floors, get out some markers and crayons, explain what is hoped by doing this, everybody pile in the car, drive to the post office, and send them off. How much does it cost to try to reach someone you can't see once with the thought God loves them? 27 cents. The thicker the postcard, the better, by the way. I've seen what machines can do to mail, and it isn't pretty or sensitive. I'll be praying for Zimbabwe and Robert Mugabe... might send them a couple cards of prayer as I pray for free. Personal mail is a beautiful thing. OneJohn410
