See... we really can blame Canada!

It has been really strange watching as these camps come closer together. Whether you're on a head trip about making your life prosperous, or one about being so spiritual that you get more visions than every prophet in the Bible put together, faith in God and the simplicity of Christ and the Gospel gets left behind.

That's what I've noticed as well. I've studied these groups for years and have seen how the separate streams are slowly merging into one. It makes sense, though, since their foundation seems to be the same old tired lie: You are gods.

how is all this about Earthless and questions for Earthless...????

Earthless is one of the most well-rounded men I know, so he's interested in all these topics.
I used to be well-rounded but after eliminating things like sugary desserts and processed flour from my diet and taking up regular exercise, I'm more on the lean, mean side.

I'm well-rounded! Especially since I served salmon tonight!

Kind of a sideways repentance, crankius... BTW a buddy who posts here and I have laughed numerous times at your description of my avatar...quite good!

Just calling it like I see it. (thanks! it's good to laugh, you know.)

SO EARTHLESS,

Do you play an instrument?
Do you drink coffee?
Do you write poetry?
Do you think Starbucks coffee tastes burnt?

Yes, but there was never a need to offer it. Really. You did not offend me or cause me to be bothered. God bless you.

SO EARTHLESS,

Do you play an instrument?

I was trained in piano, violin, and was taught to play drums by some friends in the CCM/Alt Rock scene. But I do not play any of those regularly, so I would not consider myself to be a musician of any form.

Do you drink coffee?

Yes, but not every day.. and if I do it's in the morning with my breakfast and just one small cup.

Do you write poetry?

Not anymore.. I used to.. but what teenage/adolescent kid doesn't do so when in "love"?

Do you think Starbucks coffee tastes burnt?

Strangely enough.. the few times a year that I do go to a Starbucks.. I don't get regular coffee. I end up buying one of their froo-froo concoctions. Go figure!

There was (several years ago) a big billboard at the Tennessee state line that encouraged travelers to "spend tonight in alabama" which I always read as a double meaning, "$pend tonight in alabama".

The reason I phrased it "been in" instead of "visited" was to leave open the possibility that you drove through.

Come back and see us! Jesse DuPlantis does! (hehe)

Did you hear that George Wallace's childhood home in Clio, AL burned to the ground Sunday night? Do you know where Clio is? Do you care?

Since we're talking geography . . .

Earthless, have you ever been in Jackson WY, the Grand Tetons and/or Yellowstone?

Wintery and Jimbo . . . I'm not Earthless, but I've been in Alabama; lived there, in fact, for 6 years.

I just heard a conversation on Finebaum (biggest sports talk show in Alabama) that I must relay!

The host says "you're not objective about Auburn", and the caller responds, "oh yes I am, I'm the biggest Auburn fan there is!"

I've never been to Alabama but my parents lived there for a few months before I came along. My dad was in AIT for the army. I won't share what they thought about it though...

When I was growing up in the panhandle of Florida, I thought is was full of rednecked hicks.

But, then, so was the place I grew up.

Hey wait a minute.
I grew up in the Florida Panhandle. I resemble that remark, I think.

Jalanda, I thought your current avatar was a slug on some type of leaf. Really, I did.

THEN I remembered your siggy; and decided that perhaps there was a connection between said siggy and avtar.

A little chocolate can really dress up a slug, though.
