quote:
I think this is the number one issue for most people. Yes, according to te poll below it sure is: USA Today/Gallup Poll. Aug. 21-23, 2008. N=1,023 adults nationwide. MoE ± 3. "If you had to choose, which of the following issues will be most important to your vote for president: the economy, terrorism, the situation in Iraq, health care, energy, including gas prices, or some other issue?" Options rotated % The economy 43 The situation in Iraq 15 Energy, including gas prices 14 Health care 11 Terrorism 9 Illegal immigration (vol.) 1 Abortion (vol.) 1 Other 4 Unsure 3 Now, if most people feel this way about economy priority and importance of issues, how come this thread has no response? I avoid personal debt and worried about huge public debt of the nation, that I supose we all will end up paying for for years and years to come. As I dont have kids of my own will not leave debt or credit heritages for them but stilldo think about future of all kids. I dont have a clue what both candidates views are, yet. But do know that spending with military is huge and planning to all spend more on it comes from all candidates. I do understand I country to spend on their own security but it seems the arsenal it is to protect "global security"? Until them this global security expending will go on, when there will be enough arsenal already? When will decide focus and invest more at home? Thanks, I am learning dont know much.
