You sorta remind me of a lot of people... I thought of you while the dude with the girlfriend was explaining his map... though, if it makes you feel better, it totally made sense to me

I think I got a compliment the other day- I work as a housekeeper and another girl said to my mom, "Why does someone that intellegent work in a job like this?" I don't know what my mom said, but its because I like it... But it's nice to hear that when I sing "If I only had a brain..." someone disagrees

I didn't see it tonight. Which dude? Last I knew Charlie had a girlfriend, Don had one, Charlie's physicist friend had one (one of the agents), even the dad was cozying up to someone. Last I checked I didn't have one. <Looks around> Nope.

Yeah, Charlie is the math genius, and his girlfriend is another math person of some sort (grad student or postdoc I think). Don is his FBI brother. The Dad is played by Judd Hirsch.

Yes but then she offered to send him over and teach me Spanish.

Apparently I'm an embarrassment to my heritage because I don't speak Spanish.

Don't feel bad, I don't either. Most of my family is bilingual (spanish and english), but the children who were born here only speak english. I learned a bit of spanish in school, so I can get around, but other than that, nothing.

Too cool kuku!

"Oh I, could tell you why
the oceans near the shore,
I could think of things I never thunk before,
And then I'd sit
And think some more...""

One of my favorite songs to sing around the office.

No need to cry. I've been compared in looks to everything from Russel Crowe to Quasimodo. Just pick the ones you like and ignore the others.

As to the OP... I cry. It's usually coupled with a phone call to a friend, which I noticed wasn't an option. I usually end up on the phone with poor carebearer bawlin my eyes out... She is so good to put up with me!

I also exercise at times when I am stressed. I also selected moving to Zimbabwe and changing my name to Fred because I fantasize about things oh so very close to that that it's scary. And sometimes that is what get me through. I also tend to head for the chocolate... My ultimate bad day food is plain m&m's and cherry coke. My close friends have known for a long time that if they see me with those two things together, just to stay away (and back away slowly and very cautiously! ).

Losgan... I'm technically in law enforcement, too. One of the other police dispatchers and I got to talking one day, and we had the rest of the people in the room looking at us quite strangely. I'm sure they were trying to figure out if they needed to call an officer in to check on us... We were discussing how to murder someone and not get caught. For numerous reasons, I can't share my theories here. But I think I have a fairly good idea as to what to do with the body... LOL. I was sure glad to know that I wasn't the only one who thought about that sort of thing for fun, though!

Disclaimer: I have not ever murdered anyone, nor would I ever.

I never did answer this question...

Well, I was pretty upset all of yesterday due to the letter I received from an ex. After he responded to me saying I should move on because I"m still living in the past, I definitely wanted to murder him or hire a hit man, or have the bus accidentally run over him. I'm glad he lives some 1500 miles away from me now. But he can manage to get me very angy and so I went for having a good work out as my answer.

I took my daughter cycling. Yeah, I carried two bikes down 3 plights of stairs (one at a time, lol), drove some 50 km, and cycled for a couple of hours with her. Then went to see Kung Fu Panda, which is pretty funny, (though God was left out of the picture...it's a movie that can open a discussion with your kid about your world view). Then I went for a 3 mile run with the treadmill on an incline. Man, I was tired, but for a few hours, I didn't feel any anger.

Remember that while murder is not an option, planning a murder is.

I have plans for some people at work. For example, when it's time to do in A, I plan on chasing her with a chainsaw for a while, thus convincing her that it's just a common chainsaw murder and lulling her into a false sense of security. Then I'll chase her into a wood chipper.

Such plans are very therapeutic.
