We're missionaries living in Mexico right now and have been given a 4 month old to foster but we want to move back to the states. He's been with us over a month now and we'd like to adopt him if we could only find the birth mother. Please help us pray.

Lord, please have mercy upon the little boy in funny_girl's care. If it is your will, please help her and her husband be allowed to adopt this child and bring him into their loving family. Help them to find the mother of this child so that they can get the proper permission so that this wonderful act can take place, and this baby can be given a home where he can grow up with love, and be educated in your ways by a Christian couple.

God, you watch over the meek and the helpless with care and love. Please look down upon this baby, and the couple looking to adopt him, and bless them with unity so that they might be able to become a family. I pray this in the name of He who died for our sins upon the cross, Jesus Christ.

Amen.

Big news today!

The birth mother has petitioned custody of her children. The director of the children's shelter is my friend and also a local pastor's wife. We now have the mother's name and the address from her driver's license. The mother is 25 years old and has a 5 year old, 2 year old, 1 year old and the 4 month old baby that I want. Friday, the director said she'd go with me to the address to try and influence the mother to give him to us, should the court system rule in her favor of custody.

I just want God's will. I want him, but if it's not God's will and we won't be adopting him, I need prayer for the heart ache.
