Is hell real?
This summer, the Pew Forum on Religion & Public Life released the "U.S. Religious Landscape Survey." According to the study, 59 percent of those surveyed believed in a concept of hell -- down from 71 percent in a 2001 Gallup poll.

Maybe that's a question that ought to be asked about the religious set that claims to be Bible-believing. Being on various threads throughout Crosswalk, reading what people have written about themselves but more about people in their churches, past and present, makes me remember that some will say, "But L-rd! Didn't we feed the hungry? Didn't we sing the songs? Didn't we smile at the right times and say the right words when we were to respond?" and He will say, "I never knew you. Depart from me."
To say I am shaken a bit tonight would be an understatement.

For the life of me, I cannot understand how anyone can be a Christian and not believe the Bible! Scripture is filled with references to eternal damnation, hell, Lake of fire, Hades......
As of now, the voting shows 1 person who voted does not believe hell is real.

Of course, the bible talks more about hell than it does Heaven. If the bible says it I believe it. A lot of people are talking jokingly about it. It is not a joking matter, it a REAL place that REAL people are going to every minute, and its a disturbing thought to think about all the people there now and people who are going to go there. The more reason we should be telling the world THE GOOD NEWS OF JESUS!!!! If we really thought about hell we would not want anyone even people we do not get along with to go there. We should do something about that and tell everyone we possibly can about Christ and His love for them.
