That's usually my job on Sunday morning. That and turning on the coffee pot for the people who come in early.

No, not today. We recently relocated and have not found new church yet. We have visited several, but none that seem right for us. I didn't want to go back to one of the others just be going, and did not feel up being sociable enough to make cold visit at a another new one.

No, didn't go to church...there is a conflict between my husband and I regarding church. So, since I can't go and be relatively civil, it's best to just stay home. (there's more but it's a LONG story)

Last night counts, Ames01.

We leave for Sunday School before 8:15. Hubby cooks breakfast for our youth and youth workers and has for about 18 months. I make coffee and today I led the opening 'ceremony' taking prayer and praise requests. We have a video that goes along with our lesson and then dismiss into our separate classes.

Our Sunday School lesson was on 'judgement'. I co-teach the 9th grade boys and girls. We had 13 today out of 20. Four of our kids rotate weekends with mom/ dad so it was a GOOD turnout! Hubby co-teaches 7th and 8th grade boys.

We're just about to leave for a cook-out at our son's house. It's been raining for a few days and is still raining! Thankfully, Jon and Mary have a huge covered patio area so we can sit outside. The guys are going to watch baseball in high def.

Last week our church honored a woman who hasn't missed Sunday School in 54 years. She was even there the Sunday after her husband died suddenly.

It's hard getting up on Sunday! Even if I go to bed early on Saturday night, it seems Sunday just feels like a lazy, stay in bed day.

Yes. We had All Nations Day today so the sermon was short. We had presentations from Ghana, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Togo, Ivory Coast, Jamaica & St Vincent followed by food from all these countries and a barbecue. Tomorrow is a public holiday.

Absolutely, This was the first Sunday all summer that I haven't taken the service or preached so I enjoyed just sitting in the choir, praying, praising and being feed by the sermon and communion.

I misvoted 'Home Church' but I meant 'Yes' I 'worshiped hard' at my local assembly.

I just got back from Church; we had service from 10:00 Am, till just now 3:00 pm.

Great prayer, music, praise, worship, preaching, healing service and afterglow.

Thank you Jesus.

Thanks
RC

Yes. Sunday school first and then worship.

Then home and as my husband and I were preparing dinner, a man from our former church stopped by, so he joined us for dinner out on the deck.

Then a friend whose son was in town from Texas with his family called and encouraged us to stop over. So I ran by to say hi.

Now my husband is working on our new patio (laying slate) and I am checking out the forum.

Praise the Lord! His lovingkindness is great toward us and the truth of the Lord is everlasting. Praise the Lord!

No...I went to church last night.

The non-denom. church we attend has 4 services. One Saturday evening and three Sunday morning. We previously attended on Sundays. The Lord called us to Saturday nights, as it was easier to take others (unbelievers) to church, than a Sunday morning. The excuse "We sleep in on Sunday's" doesn't apply to Saturday nights. We have witnessed several hearts changed as we minister with dinner and a Saturday night worship service.
