In Luke, chapter seven, regarding the woman which was a sinner...

Did that mean she was a prostitute, or promiscuous, or something?

She could have been all of the above and so much more. The Bible doesn`t specify so I won`t speculate. All I know is she was a sinner like me. She came to Jesus and Jesus loved her unconditionally and forgave her sins. The woman was so greatful to Jesus for loving her and forgiving her sins that she did what we all need to do also. Amen! She loved much because she was forgiven much! It is a wonderful story!

I like the responses on this. It's easy to try to define the sin and miss the fundamental point.
