I was reading an article on the difference between the global climate change model and the actual ice cap coverage. Just a hint. There is more than the model says there is.

Then the thought hit me as I looked at the satellite photo of the North Pole. Has anyone ever crossed over from North America to Eurasia or vice versa? I remember explorers heading to the poles but I never heard of any ever going to a different continent.

Canadian Richard Weber has crossed the Arctic Ocean. Not sure if that included the pole or not. Here's a Wikipedia article about him.

Yay Canada! Good for you for knowing that, Bill! I'm impressed.

Looking at the article, it seems like Weber's 1988 trip crossed the Arctic Ocean, through the Pole, from Russia to Canada.
