Now I know who that is in her avatar. Thanks, Kath!

BHM, you were reading the dictionary????

Most of what I post comes under the second definition of tarradiddle.

Wow -- I log off for the night and come back this morning to find out about corruption?? What kind of den are you running here, Lioness???

Well, I suppose I had better wander off to grab a cup of coffee and a granola bar (with all the thread confusion, it appears maple bars were NOT set out this morning in any of the threads!)

I was reading the dictionary and came across this:

porphyrophobia (por-fi-ROH-foh-bee-ah) — fear of the color purple

It struck me as hiliarious. I mean, are there people out there who are actually afraid of a color??

I wonder if it would be the same fear if it were of the movie/musical "The Color Purple"?

I am off to work--going to see if we have any porphyrophobiacs there--I know we have some tarradiddles.

Have a great day everyone

Cinco de Madre I believe you will find maple bars and apple fritters in the house.

Yes, I forgot to put them out this morning. I was trying to wait so they'd be fresh, but me forgot.

I think someone needs to suggest to the higher ups around here that we need a tarradiddle folder. Or just rename the theology folder.

Well, Good morning Corrupted Ones. Whew, I am sure glad I was not here during the corruption process! Gotta be careful about these things... I work for the Gov't, ya know .

Glad I found you guys again though. Now without further interruption, go forth and corrupt Den-er's!

Would we then refer to the 'theologians' who post in that folder as Tarradiddlers?

'Tis true, Gma. One can never be too sure how far-reaching our corrupting influence is.

Glad you found us, too!

'Morning Lioness and Terri. I probably do have a "big", as in busy, week ahead of me. I tell ya, this "W" stuff just needs to cease!

Oh well, maybe it will keep me out of trouble. At least if I don't spend too much time in corrupted company it should help, right? So, we don't know how we got corrupted? Inquiring minds want to know- nah, not really. If we know, we couldn't be "innocent" when we do it again, lol.

This reminded me of a toast I read this weekend...

"May you never be judged by the company you keep!"

How fitting for this thread.

Should we observe a brief moment of silence for the old thread and all the old posts that perished with her in The Great Corruption?

I mean, now we have no record at all of Qt's glue sniffing, word of Benelchi's son's cycling exploits have passed into the Electronic Void, and the grand history of Dude's many victorious tackles are virtual toast.

*Special Announcement*

You'll all be pleased to know that, not only is Benelchi a messenger of God but additionally, his education is finally paying off!

There was over 500 pages of corruption in the last den, and as I remember you participated in a large part of that.

We just have to get this one up to 500 pages. Only 494 to go!

Yep. It just kinda tickled me.

Good gravy, I couldn't get anywhere on the forums for a bit there. First it was just slow and then I kept getting timed out.

You don't think we corrupted the whole place, do you?????
