It will. An hour before 6:30 even.

School tomorrow?

I've taken some ibuprofen and think I'm going to shuffle off to bed whilst wondering when exactly I got so old. G'night!

Here's some more political humor...

They keep talking about drafting a Constitution for Iraq .... why don't we just give them ours? It was written by a lot of really smart guys, it has worked for over 200 years, and we're not using it anymore.

You guys must come and congratulate the eminent one in the D&R thread for his very creative imagination; how he came up with his latest stuff I will never know.

are you guys watching the debate?

obama makes me want to vomit.

i think it's because he has learned how to smirk....biden probably taught him how to do that.

he's really good at it.

I'm not watching. I don't have the stomach for election year television.

Sadly, I had choir practice so I missed it. However, when I turned the TV on, I got to watch Hillary give her completely unbiased take on who won...

I wasn't sure whether to laugh hysterically or do what you wanted to do elastic...

Hi everyone
Can I just blow off some steam in here?
I promise I won't knock over your knick knacks or punch a hole in the drywall.

I can?
Why o why I ask, do people go into threads that they know are going to make them mad then flip flop on their opinion and THEN try to tell everyone to "just stop" the conversation because they say so??

Ok I am done, thank you for the use of the room.

Not liking my new subscription, "Server Error in '/' Application."

Many a click did occur before I was sufficiently updated on that one and able to see some threads.

HA!!!! I'm partial to new members who think that their run-on, unpunctuated paragraphs will make everyone see the light and suddenly agree that the definitive word on the subject has been posted. By them.

Good Morning, Denizens!

Are the Statics MIA? Does that mean Kara Static is being a good girl and coming forth? Praying so.

I did not sleep well last night. So not amused. Fortunately coffee takes care of any grumpiness I might otherwise have a tendency toward under the circumstances.

But I know you're not a quitter! Redouble your efforts, you slacker!

I watched some of the debate last night - more than I wanted but BW had the remote. I thought McCain addressed the ludicrous notion that McCain is Bush clone. I believe the main reason he won the Republican race was precisely because he is not a copy of W and only a doodlehead would claim (or believe) he is. Of the two candidates, I believe McCain is more likely to think outside the party box, reach across the aisle, and take us in a reform direction.

But, as usual, I don't have much of an opinion one way or another on this or any other topic.

Hard to believe anyone would (voluntarily) leave my employment, isn't it?

It's a LOVELY overcast day (rain, lots of rain) in northeast Arkansas. I am here, but if I seem to have ignored a post directed at me, you can pretty well bet I've nodded off at my desk. Or maybe even went across the hall to doze in a recliner....

...wonder if one of those recliners would fit behind my desk....
