I was going to answer, but I figured it would be best to wait for a woman to answer first. After all, women (mothers especially) tend to be experts on that subject.

You MUST be joking....

You'd BETTER be joking....

You don't have to run the whole thing; you just run until your little swimmer gets down to business. 18-20 miles should do it!

Braxton Hicks contractions are the contractions that fool first time mothers into believing they are in labor, when they are not. These are the ones they are having when the doctor sends the back home to wait for the real thing.

They do however help to get things ready for the real thing.... I'm just trying to encourage the real thing to move along....

Its a positive feedback loop in the body...

increase pressure causes increased contractions which cause more pressure.... until the process completes... (or an explosion occurs... )

Wow, what a stimulating dialogue. I think I will take this matter into my own hands. I will keep everyone abreast of the situation as it unfolds.

I've never had kiddos, but when you have enough friends who are at that time of life, you learn all kinds of stuff! Whether you want to or not!

Kevin, it would appear that your neurons are currently experiencing quite an interesting accumulation of static.
