You're not going to believe this. Chuck Pierce actually teaches Kabbalah? He also has a close associate, JoAnne McFatter that believes she talks to trees. You're not going to believe this.

Spooky to say the least.

But with the rush to come up with something new by these "Teachers" I am not suprised; only saddened.

Maybe if you pronounce the Heraraic letters while cutting the head off of a chicken and slinging the blood on those in attendance, all the while dancing to a particular drum beet; who knows something might just happen.

Many equipped (1 Peter 3:15) Christians have known about Chuck being a false teacher and a false prophet for years. He is part of the heretical Word of Faith/Latter Rain crowd (Wagner, Patricia King, Joyner, Bentley, etc..)

Uhm... I saw no legitimate proof on the blog you linked to... just links to another blog. Maybe that blog has legitimate sources, but I would tend to doubt it. I have heard of the Todd Bently "thing" that everyone is in a tizzy about, and I think it has been blown out of proportion.

According to his website and Bill Johnson's response to the accusation, he and his wife are seperated because of a non-sexual "inappropriate relationship" with a staff member. So... lets consider our soureces and proofs before getting too self-righteous. Especially since this is now the fourth thread I have seen dedicated to Todd Bently (at least, that is what the linked blog is on about).

As for the intention of showing how Chuck Pierce "teaches Kabbalah", the author of the linked blog actually misquotes Pierce. He said that there was "some truth". What does that mean? It means something is truth, some of it is not. I'm sure they go into specifics in the class that they are offering. However, what Pierce actually said is probably true. Why? Because there is "some truth" to be found in Q'ran, the Baghavad Gita, and the Talmud. Now, those truths would be the few things said that line up with what is already revealed in the Bible (or at the very least, doesn't contradict the Bible). They are far from 100% truth, and without EXTREME caution in exegesis, would be less than helpful in building hard doctrine. I'm more than willing to believe that Pierce would tell you the same thing.

You apparently didn't read the article. There is no misquotation of Pierce's words. Not only does it includes Pierce's exact words, it also makes it abundantly clear that Chuck Pierce is, in fact, teaching Kabbalah. Specifically, Pierce says Kabbalah is true when it comes to "the names of God and the ancient mysteries of the Hebraic alphabet."

It is an understatement to say that whatever truth is in Kabbalah is "far from 100% truth, and without EXTREME caution in exegesis, would be less than helpful in building hard doctrine." However, that is exactly what Pierce does. Much of what Pierce teaches is pure, undiluted Kabbalah.

Then again, the bible does say: "But if any man be ignorant, let him be ignorant." -- 1 Cor. 14:38

I'll give you this much. If you're choosing to ignore the truth, as you appear to be doing, at least you're living biblically ;-)

Chuck Pierce has enough twisted theology to be concerned about WITHOUT Kaballah.

He is a leader in C Peter Wagner's ICA, which describes itself as "a professional society of apostles" who possess "the authority to establish the foundational government of the church."

He is also a documented FALSE prophet, as well as a member of the Latter Rain/Kingdom Now/Dominionist/Manifest Sons of God cults

ROFL. This is true, something "just might" happen.

For me, I stick to the squirrel in church.
A lot less expensive and does the same job.

irthn... had you read my comment all the way through, you would have seen where the blog does indeed misquote Pierce. He does not say that the Kabbalah is truth... he says that there is "some" truth in the Kabbalah. The blog tried very hard to make it sound like Pierce is a Kabbalahist. Selective quotation is just as bad as making up a quote that they never said.

Soxfan... no comment... we've been around that bush a million times before...
