I tend to be sarcastic with bitter people. [sm=sidesmile.gif] The type I'm referring to has nothing good to say about the Church (the universal body of Christ), "organized religion," or most Christians because they have been hurt in the past - sometimes the very distant past. For one thing, this is a forgiveness issue, which is at the heart of very basic Christianity. One cannot get through "The Lord's Prayer" without stumbling into it. Holding grudges, pain, and wrongs (real and imagined) is so un-Christ-like as to nullify the bitter words hurled against most other believers. For another thing, to avoid being hurt from reasonable or unrealistic expectations we have of believers or even hypocrites, one would have to live alone on an island far from civilization. People disappoint us. Christians are no exception. I have yet to meet a Christian, myself included, that's been saved more than a few years that hasn't been hurt deeply at least once. How we deal with it says more about us than it does about those who we feel hurt us.
