ColoradoLady36 -> What's for dinner? (8/13/2008 7:34:38 PM)

I thought that this would be a fun idea. Just tell us what you are serving for dinner tonight, and it might help others with ideas. What do you say?

On our menu: Smoked pork chops, buttered noodles, and lima beans.

Next.....

Last night was grilled chicken, sauteed garden veggies, and mashed potatoes.

Tonight will be something with the buffalo I have thawing. Not sure what yet.

Cooking is not something that is limited to women.

And I wouldn't be able to tell y'all that I had a kolache and soup after I got home last night if this was confined to women only...

Chorizo & Eggs.....it's supposed to be 100 outside today, so I'm trying not to get the house hot by using the oven or multiple burners.

ta_mosquito -> RE: What's for dinner? (8/14/2008 4:25:07 PM)

Since I don't have all the ingredients for ground beef stroganoff, I'm making... frozen pizza. [8|]

deliveredarling -> RE: What's for dinner? (8/14/2008 4:32:33 PM)

Homemade chicken noodle soup. Thermostat went out on the oven [sm=icon_smile_yikes.gif]and the part comes in tomorrow. Probably would have been frozen pizza.....

I know. I know.[:D][:D][:)]

I had chilli lime chicken, brown and wild rice and carrots (the carrots were from my own garden[:)]). Never made that chicken before ~ it was gooood!

Wild-Rose -> RE: What's for dinner? (8/14/2008 6:29:59 PM)

Bratwurst and sauerkraut.

Kat_D -> RE: What's for dinner? (8/14/2008 7:23:10 PM)

I meant to post yesterday and forgot...

Last night I made Pasta Caprese...Halved cherry tomatoes cooked with garlic in olive oil and tossed with Fusilli, fresh basil and diced fresh mozzarella. Served with a green salad and a baguette.

Tonight we're having Teriyaki chicken breasts and crookneck squash cooked on the grill. Served with couscous and a green salad.

stamper_ben -> RE: What's for dinner? (8/14/2008 9:39:05 PM)

A kolache is a Czech pastry with various fillings in it. Mine had jalapeno flavored sausage in it.

Tonight we had scrambled eggs, hash browns, bacon and English muffins.

Mrs.X -> RE: What's for dinner? (8/15/2008 11:08:31 PM)

It was 103/40 today, that's about as hot as it gets here. So, I made a green salad and canned soup. Tomorrow will be something similar since it will be almost as hot. Or, maybe my hubby will cook burgers on the grill outside.

zmanfan38 -> RE: What's for dinner? (8/15/2008 11:58:05 PM)

spaghetti (oooh, tonight I sliced some mushrooms and sauteed them in butter and garlic first, then added them to the sauce later...yum!)

salad

yeast rolls

spitzu -> RE: What's for dinner? (8/16/2008 1:57:18 AM)

Pineapple cilantro chicken, quinoa, and baby lima beans (which are my husband's favorite vegetable).
