We all have head colds so I'm going to make a nice, hot pot of chili.

Mrs.Above_All, I love your avatar. What a grin.

We are having meatloaf with mushroom gravy. Of course some vege and a bread or something like that.

Chicken breasts baked with Diana Sauce (a brand of sauce here in Canada - very yummy) and either leftover mashed taters (hubby) or leftover barley (for me) and applesauce.

Last night I popped in a frozen Stoffer's lasagna.... When will I learn that convenience is not worth it?? At least hubby's salad was yummy.

Tonight, homemade white chicken chili.

Tonight is "cleaning out the kitchen night". I'm going to go through my fridge and pantry to see what I can concoct. It's a purging/getting rid of kind of night. lol

So far I have pasta and pasta sauce but not enough pasta. I'll make it anyway. I also have some Japanese curry (the boxed kind) left. I think I will make curry with whatever veggies I have in the fridge. There's no meat at all anywhere. So it's either veggie night or I could pick up a piece of chicken. Hmm. I think hubby can live meatless for one night. lol

But only ONE night, LOL! My hubby will occasionally let me get away with a veggie night with only a lifted eyebrow, but never TWO nights!

My white chili is red! Oh well, it smells great.

Hubby emailed from work that they had a birthday lunch today, so he needs little or no dinner. So I'll forage in the fridge or maybe eat some of the TVP chili I made yesterday.
