Polenta pie which is from the original Moosewood Cookbook. It's a thick cornmeal crust. I vary the toppings. Tonight I topped it with lots of pesto, italian cheeses, sauted onions, pepper, garlic, & zucchini, tomato slices, and more cheese. I use basil and oregano plus a little s&p for seasonings. Yum!

Supper for us was Slurpees and a pepperoni pizza from Little Caesar's. LOL!

Delicious!!!!! Now I'm craving a Slurpee! What flavour did ya get? Pepsi's my fave.

I got Coke. Usually I prefer Pepsi, but so does everyone else, so it's a lot thinner than the Coke. You can't make a nice, tall top on it if it's too thin!

I'm thinking we'll do some form of chicken tonight - probably baked in Diana sauce (with a nod to all Canadians out there).

I have cabbage, potatoes, onions and sausage cooking in the crock pot with butter and cajun seasoning. I also have my little crock pot going with black-eyed-peas (seasoned with some bacon fat, mmmmm). It all smells so good, I can't wait until supper! I'm contemplating making some cornbread . . . . . .
