Hook 'em!

I've been in that position before. 82 Cotton bowl,Bear Bryant vs Fred Akers. I pulled for the Longhorns. I always pull for the Horns first and the Tide second.
Now that my Horns have fallen to the one loss gang I can hope that the Tide will hang on win out.
Tufff road ahead but then again they have suprised me so far.

I still believe if Bama ends up with a loss and or even loses to Florida in the SEC champ game that the Media will push, persuade for a Penn St. v USC natl championship game. They love USC and think maybe this will retire Joe Pa.

HOOK"EM HORNS!!!!!!! ROLL TIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And about that Horn loss to Texas Tech. The horns were flat and looked tired the 1st half. I think they looked bad the 2nd half but were playing for pride and survival. The Tech receivers were just too much and too good for the young secondary.

You are probably right, but I hope not. Of course I'm pulling for Florida to beat Alabama. If they both go to SEC with no more losses, as far as I'm concerned the winner will be the national champs. As I said, I'm pulling for Florida, but Alabama is definitely my second choice.

Texas met a better team that dominated them from all spots in first half and he;ld 0pon to toughen it out in the second half. they simply found out their bubble got burst. Texas tech looked solid from all areas.

Phillip Fulmer will not be the coach at Tennesee after this season according to reports. Is there nothing this man won't do to steal the spotlight from Alabama? See ya, Fat Phil.

Tennessee has always hired within the "family". But. like Alabama, found the limitations to that practice. The job is one nearly any college coach would love to get, so candidates will be plentiful.

Looks like Muschamp, defensive coordinator at Texas will be a candidate.

Muschamp's name is coming up everywhere even at Clemson. With Tennessee and Clemson both looking for head coaches, I believe Clemson is the better job. Both have great facilities and support from fans. Tennessee has done better in SEC recently than Clemson has in the ACC. They did play for SEC title game last year where Clemson keeps coming up short.

The main reason I believe Clemson is the better job is mainly because it would be easier to win the ACC at Clemson than win the SEC at Tennessee right now. The SEC is one of the best/toughest conferences there is (Big 12 the other one now). The ACC is ripe for the taking. Just about all of the teams are struggling in some way. It looks like another year where the ACC champ will have 3-4 total losses going into the BCS Bowl game.

As far as Clemson goes, I hope Dabo Swinney does well the rest of the season and things work out for him to stay as head coach. He has a lot against him mainly not having any Head Coaching or Coordinator experience. If he doesn't get to keep the head job, I'm hoping somehow the new HC would keep him on staff maybe as Offensive Coordinator because he is a very good recruiter in this area.

It was nice to see Clemson finally get another win on Saturday although they tried to give the game away again. Next up is Florida State in Tallahassee which will be tough. Both defenses are doing well with offenses holding the teams back. Don't expect many points in this one.

well Bama has LSU. I still say Bama has the worst of all the top 3. Penn St is in worthless Big 10. they win out easily and conference is scared to have a champuionship game kinda like Pac 10 cause they know their teams can't beat the "best" in the conference twice.

Texas Tech will have trouble with Oklahoma and Oklahoma St but will walk tall.

Bama. wow the SEC. LSU, Mississppi, Auburn, and look looming in georgia, Florida

Not only is he not ashamed to be a Christian, he is a very active one. He did missions work in the Phillipines among other places this past summer. He even inspired Urban Meyer to take his family to South America on a mission trip. I admire Tim very much for his athletic ability and his work as a quarterback, but I am in awe of his stand as a Christian!

Go LSU this weekend! Unfortunately the BCS system is a joke so my USC Trojans won't get to prove anything on the field in a championship game. It would still be nice to see the pretenders lose though.

Tim Tebow is a professed Christian? Thats awesome! I wasn't aware of that.

Try proving it first in a conference championship game.

We might get it handed to us by Florida but at least we have one.

I hope LSU plays well this week, but I hope Alabama plays better. I hope to see Florida and Alabama in the SEC championship game. For Florida to have a chance to appear in the BCS championship game (with all the BCS flaws), I think they have to defeat a #1 team. Aside from that, if Florida can't make it to the BCS, I would like to see Alabama there.

Tim Tebow lived most of his life in the Phillipines being raised by missionary parents. His stated priorities are: God, family, academics, and football, in that order.

I disagree and don't think that Tech's better than Texas. When a good team plays poorly like Texas did in the first half, it makes their opponents look a lot better than they are. Consider how few points Tech put on the board in the second half. If they were better than Texas, that wouldn't have happened. If Texas plays better in the first half--actually executes the passes, etc--Tech wouldn't have been ahead, or at least by not as much.

It was Texas' game to win at the end of the 4th quarter. If Texas would have used a little more clock at the end, Tech wouldn't have scored the last second touchdown. If our defensive dude would have intercepted the ball instead of creating a basketball hoop for the ball to go through, the game would have been over. If our second defensive player would have run behind Crabtree instead of in front of him, he would have been tackled instead of making it into the end zone. Three examples of critical 4th quarter poor execution.

Texas didn't execute like they're capable of. That's why Tech won.

We will find out after the Cal Bears beat the Trojans in LA

The Red Raiders might be the only undefeated team in the BCS at the end, unless OSU shuts down Crabtree.

I wonder if Jim Tressel is chewing his guys out for running it up against Northwestern.

Anyone watching 'Bama-LSU?
