come play in a real conference and lets see a team dominate year in and year out. SEC is strongest conference overall. this year Big 12 has some teams but to me they are still lacking but they finding it out how tough the SEC is yearly. everyone beats everyone.
if you TRUELY followed college ball and watched all conferences, you would respect the fact that a team going unbeaten in SEC has earned the respect of the nation. shows because USC is a 1 loss team and yet they are no where near even having a shot at the national title. BCS is figured on schedule strength. pac 10 is weak and not worthy of the SEC, Big 12 type of respect. I dont even have Big 10 in it.
and yes i know next year USC will again be picked to win it all. yet they dont prove themselves.
Respect is earned not given and USC hasn't earned my respect.
Spoken like a true SEC homer. I heard the same type of misguided logic from LSU fans a couple of years ago even though LSU lost to the same Arkansas team that USC bombed 50 -14 in Little Rock. Take out Florida and the SEC is the ACC, a group of average teams that beat each other and claim that they play great defense just because all of their offenses stink.
It is truly unfortunate that Oregon St didn't beat Oregon and earn a Rose Bowl berth so that USC could go to the Sugar Bowl and beat Alabama even worse than Florida will next weekend.
just keep wishing. keep thinking the pac 10 is worthy of being something oyther than a second rate conference. no wait, remind me again what USC has done? lose 1 game a year because play against teams that should be mac or wac conference.
remind me again who is ranked number 1? errr or is that beyond your logic to comprehend. its obvious you believe the only team is USC and for that. will pray for you.
Yeah, still not seeing how anybody from the Pac 10 can talk about any other conference. True I may be a fan of the SEC, but overall who has won more BCS championships since it started? 3 to 1 by my count....and with 3 different schools...not just one...so come see me when Oregon or Arizona State have won one.

I live 45 miles from Gainesville (Gators), and 100 miles from Tallahassee (Seminoles), and the fans around here are pretty well split between Gators and "Noles. Even in my family we are split. My wife and I are Gators as is our daughter, and our son and two grandsons are Seminoles. None of my family went to either school.

Yes I'm an upset Longhorn fan. But we must move on and prove we should have been in the Big 12 championship. Whoever and wherever the Horns play, they must dominate to drive home the point.

Bama Defense Only allowed 2 100yard rushing games this year.
gators will be very tuff. Shoulkd be a great game. They are meeting for the 6th time in an SEC championship game.

Texas was done wrong but what I could tell was a part to do with Texas Tech. they did manhandle Texas and Oklahoma opened up a can on them

Yep, after the Tide whoops up on Florida, I'm goin to drive over to Lafayette. Go eat some gator at Prejean's Cajun Cuisine in celebration of Bama's return to the top.
Okay, even if the Tide doesn't win, they have proven they are back. Noone expected them to win 8-9 games much less go undefeated and battle for the SEC championship. REmarkable season.

Very true. I still believe the Gators will win against Alabama, but if not, I hope Alabama prevails against whoever the BCS finally decides will go against them.
I don't have any particular favorites in the "Big 12", but I can't believe they let the BCS determine who would play in their conference playoff. It would seem to me that, in case of a tie, the team who won during the season would prevail. The BCS is not known for common sense though.
