I'm a trojan fan try not to hold that against me to much Welcome to the forums, Kid! Sorry to disagree with you on your fifth post or so, but USC doesn't deserve to even be considered for the title game this year. They've had trouble in their conference a couple of times, and their conference is weak. I notice that you didn't mention any of the Big 12 teams. Are you thinking that one of those teams will be the team to jip the ones that you mentioned? The Big 12 is dominating this year. Five teams in the top 13 of the BCS--three of those teams in the top 5!! :)

Thanks for the welcome. I agree USC doesn't belong in the title game but I think since their lose to oregon st. they've played well enough for mention. I believe texas tech is destined to be in the title game. I apologize for not mentioning them. A big 12 team regardless in my opinion is going to be in the title game due to what you said about their dominance this season. I just don't agree with how if Bama loses to Florida how they should play in the title game if say they only win by one point. Bama would've lost to a top ranked team and not to an unranked team.

Since I'm a Longhorn, you should apologize for selecting Tech instead of them. No need to apologize, though. You made a good point about Bama. That would be a tough break. Texas, Tech, and OK are all in the Big 12 South with a potential for a three-way tie depending upon the outcome of Saturday's Tech/OK game (and assuming no other losses). Talk about a disappointing scenario for all three teams. They'd all be dependent upon the mercy of the BCS at that point. Talk about getting jipped!!

regardless how it falls will be a disastetr to not be SEC/Big 12 championship game. of all the one loss teams, none hold a candle to Florida this year.

I'm hoping for a Wildcat victory today against the Black Bears today and we should be in the playoffs! Though it'd probably mean a tough first round matchup against someone like Montana.

Imagine if Oklahoma beats Texas Tech then whichever of the three (adding Texas) is selected to the Big 12 title game loses to Missouri. Does the BCS take one of the other one loss teams from the Big 12 that wasn't in the title game (and thus presumably not as good as the one that did make it) or do we see the SEC champ vs USC.

Playoffs, please! I too have always wanted to see a playoff for college footbal, but I don't know how to come up with the criteria of who plays who. It could be possible to pair up the best two teams in the first round, thereby eliminating one of them. It would still be possible to name a clear number one team, but the rest of the order would not be very clear.

Currently, 21 - 7 is the score of the day in the 2 games I'm watching: WVU vs. Louisville and OSU vs. "The Really Hated School Up North." They used to be known only as the "hated school up north" to Buckeye fans everywhere, but when RichRod pulled his little disappearing act back in December, they moved up to "really hated" status. The Buckeyes have scored all of their TD's on plays of 40+ yards; in fact, their last drive was 91 yards in only 2 plays! Also, Pat White and Noel Devine have come up with plays of 50+ yards. This is turning out, so far, to be a good day for big plays. I can't wait to see the Texas Tech - OU game tonight! It is going to be huge!! Duane

My team, Michigan State University in Lansing, Michigan, lost yesterday so they will not be going to the Rose Bowl, but they should go to a bowl somewhere. Even though they lost yesterday to Penn State they have had a very good season.

So Alabama sits alone on the list of undefeated teams that matter. All they have to do is take care of business and win out, which no one is giving them a chance to do. I'm not one of these weirdo fans that think they can't get beat and Florida will be their toughest opponent yet. Which will make it all the more sweeter if they win. All they gotta do is put their nose to the grindstone and not overlook some pesky little insignificant team named Auburn. Buckle down, boys! ROLL TIDE!!!!

Well, Alabama is #1 and Florida is #2 (AP). If they can each defeat their one remaining scheduled team, not necessarily an easy task, it will be #! and #2, both from the SEC, each seeking to eliminate the other from the national championship game. The loser will then be where some of the big 12 schools are. It's virtually impossible to have two teams from the same conference to be in the national championship game, especially where there is a cnference championship.
