If your church secretary told you she was a member of a Vampire cult, what would you do? Anything?

Claims to be a Christian, but likes to hang out with other vampires, and they do exchange blood on occasion.

As a church secretary I'm very interested in the results to this one [8D][;)]

Talk to her, guide her, pray for her, etc. She should not be in that position if she holds to those beliefs though. The pastor needs to be aware.

I am skeered to talk to her anymore.[&o]

Maybe that was her way of saying, "Leave me alone, bluestone".

Thanks

Have the pastor do it.

Ha ha!

You know earthless, when I was serving as an Evangelist I heard hundreds of excused put forth by the Pastor's front line of defense (Secretary), but this one is a new one on me.

Thanks
RC

I would agree if I were nagging her or something. Several of us were discussing a vampire cult in our town. She claims membership, and was explaining how it was not anything sinful or bad.

I have also seen her a bit more than I would consider usual at my job.
I work in the deathcare industry.

triode -> RE: Church Secretary is a vampire! (8/6/2008 4:02:17 PM)

Does she understand that drinking other peoples blood is dangerous?

good question. I truly wonder if they drink more booze than blood.

Anyone besides me do the cringing thing due to the "gross" factor more than the dangerous factor? [:'(]

Now when you say this, are you implying she hangs out around morgues or graveyards?

doinkdom -> RE: Church Secretary is a vampire! (8/6/2008 4:27:11 PM)

is she a member of your church?

or was she hired from outside your body for the "job" of secretary?

bluestone -> RE: Church Secretary is a vampire! (8/6/2008 4:36:14 PM)

This is a large church. I don't know a lot of people there yet, so this after church conversation was a bit of a ..shocker. There had been an article in the paper about the vampire group.

She does not attend there. She goes to a megachurch across town.

I have only been there a few months.

I don't know that pastor that well.

I really can't say more on the issue of my job without giving away exactly what I do for a living, which I won't do on the internet.

and.. I have decided to not say anything to anyone. Three other people heard it, so I am sure someone will take care of the situation.

doinkdom -> RE: Church Secretary is a vampire! (8/6/2008 4:40:22 PM)

It sounds like she is an employee rather than a member.

KuKu -> RE: Church Secretary is a vampire! (8/6/2008 4:46:10 PM)

My sister is a secretary at a church not her own. As far as I know, she is allowed to converse with those of the church about anything, even her beliefs, but outright prostelyzation would cost her her job. I'd suspect, as long as she isn't trying to 'convince' her of anything, there isn't much that can be done. The pastor will hopefully step in, but as long as she isn't outside of any job 'boundaries', she is within her rights...

bluestone -> RE: Church Secretary is a vampire! (8/6/2008 4:49:55 PM)

The newspaper said this group is a role playing group.

I mean, as far as I know she does not turn into a bat or anything.

I'm curious - is she part of some wiccan/pagan/witch thing?
