Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow! ( I reckon I deserved that ) Sorry for messing with ya. I suppose I would get another thrashing if I posted the Rush Shreds video.

I've never heard that AC/DC song before. I like it! It's unlike all the other stuff I have heard from them.

Here's a great song I just found. Livin' on the Open Road-- Delaney and Bonnie with Duane Allman.

Oh, and anybody takes a shot at Schenker, and I don't care if they are a girl from a tropical location, and it's gonna be on!

That was great. I wore out the album grooves listening to this one while being a typical depressed teenager Dazed and Confused -- Led Zeppelin

This has an awesome guitar solo: Presence of the Lord -- Blind Faith

Here's one just for election day: Politician -- Cream

It must be a boy thing...I was depressed reggarding rock because of Tommy guy..remember opera rock The Who..yep that Tommy situation and that song "See me Feel me.."

May be because I live around the beach etc I did not get typical teen depression of my own but others like Tommy.

WOW never heard the Blind Faith Before...very nice indeed.

I trully like Cream style.

Thanks for introducing me to those also.

Tommy is a great album! I only have it on 8-track buried in a box somewhere.

Some guitar goodness from Mountain -- Dreams Of Milk And Honey
The A/V quality is lousy, but the power is still there.

I don't remember seeing Rainbow in here...

Since You've Been Gone

Street Of Dreams

I like We're an American Band. Nice afro on the drummer.
I saw Mark Farner in concert a loooong time ago. I hear he's a believer now, along with another of the Grand Funk guys. That's really cool!

I never got into Iron Maiden or any other 80s metal for some reason.

How's your head? No problem with the messing with me. It was funny (even though the video was quite unsettling!). As for Rush? You might actually help some of their songs.

Thanks for the Allman above. That's some enjoyable twang. :)

I might be banned from this thread after this song--Jack of Diamonds--but I love it. What a great Waylon song!

It's fine now. Luckily I have a thick head.

Wow, I assumed you liked Rush. It must be the helium voiced Geddy Lee you don't like.

Even though that Waylon song isn't classic rock, it's pretty good. You can't knock anyone who played with Buddy Holly.

Off topic alert:
Shema, I thought of you at church when the worship leader sang The Shema last Sunday. Even though it is short, he sang it several times while playing a melody on his guitar. It was very nice.

Those thick skulls come in handy, don't they? :)

You correctly guessed one of the reasons that I don't care for Rush too much (described it well, too!). Also too mechanical and "produced" for my tastes. A few songs here and there are okay, though.

Thanks for taking the thread off topic! I wish I could have heard the musical rendition of the Shema. Sounds like it was lovely.

I'm the same way with Rush, although I probably like more of their songs than you do.

How about some prog-rock?

Roundabout -- Yes

Heehee. Do I sense equivocation in that answer? I guess not. You are following Jesus' admonition to "let your 'yes' be 'yes' and your 'no' be 'no'."

This is about as far from prog-rock as you can get: The Adverts -- One Chord Wonders. (No, it's not a tribute to AC/DC )

HERE'S an early incarnation of Led Zeppelin.

This is a group from Minneapolis that lived in the shadow of the Replacements. Husker Du -- Makes No Sense At All.

Peter Frampton -- Show Me The Way. I think I was the only one in America that didn't own Frampton Comes Alive.
