Hmmm...the Journey 2 pack seems interesting...there's an FYE at the mall here...

I just bought Def Leppard Vault...good stuff....

I'm still hung up on Kid Rock's Rock 'n' Roll Jesus and Shaw/Blades Inspirations though...definitely going through heavy rotation both in the house and truck.

The Kid Rock CD is very eclectic...part of it's appeal I think...
The Shaw/Blades CD is just total ear candy...

A Rory Gallagher concert from 1977 on the Wolfgang's Vault site. Man, that guy could play!

He was very talented. I have a three of his cd's - Self named album, Deuce, and Photo Finish which BTW is m favorite. I especially love the song Overnight Bag.

Currently I'm listening to Pillar, TFK, Kutless, Run Kid Run, Fireflight as I'm going to see them during their Creationfest Tour. Our church is taking our youth group and some of their friends. I want to be ready for that.

At $11.99 they were a great deal but they were marked at $19.99 (still not bad but not for me), rang up at $14.99 (pretty good, I probably would have done that) but a sign on the display said $11.99 (and these two packs were all that was in there) so I showed the clerk and they gave them to me for that. Just FYI (about FYE ).

Evergrey: Torn

I think they've done better but this is another slab of solid metal with progressive touches. Kinda like their stripped down previous effort "Monday Morning Apocalypse" meets their earlier efforts (like "The Inner Circle" or "Recreation Day").

Car playlist:

Alice Cooper: Goes to Hell

Found it for $5 on Amazon. Now I know why it was $5. Not bad ("I Never Cry" came from this one) but this 1976 album is like paint by numbers Alice and pales in comparison to his previous effort, 1975's "Welcome to My Nightmare".

Also alt rock fans may want to check The Gaslight Anthem's "The 59 Sound". Great stuff from an exciting new band. I was listening to that last night.

Irish Tour is my favorite (I have a thing for live albums), but those are all excellent.

Right now, it's Mike Knott - Strip Cycle in the player. Just found it this week. This guy should have been much bigger.

Ah stereotypes don't work for me. I like some of everything. It's fun to blast KJ-52 while driving and then follow it up by Etta James. I tend to gravitate to emo/screamo/rock most of the time though.

Me either! I love KJ-52, he is so cool! The closest thing to screamo in collection would be

Disciple or Kids In The Way, don't listen to it much, but I love Rock!! My friends did have a

screamo/rock band for a while, it was pretty sweet! I also like quieter stuff like Jeremy Camp

and I love Keith Green and Steven Curtis Chapman's stuff too!
