I would give him some time personally (say 2 or 3 days). If he really wants to call her before then, he will. Praying things will go well for them & they'll get everything all worked out.

Jae, I believe I started ovulating for a while before getting a period when I was a teen. Looking back, I had all the signs. Also, OPKs just measure the LH your body is releasing into your urine, so who knows. The surge happens before an egg is ever released, and can't tell you whether or not one is in fact released... it just helps you out with timing if it is.

I cain't tell you what I would do, nicole, because I've never been in that situation before and I hate to say "well i would do this or I would do that" when in all actuallity I have no idea what I would do. I just wanted to post and tell you that I was praying for you and your family. The only thing I can suggest is pray to God and tell exactly what all ur fears are and how ur feeling (he knows anyway but wants us to tell him KWIM) and then do what ever HE tells you. Ur situation is unique and the only person who knows all the details is God. Let him be ur guide. Praying that God's will be done here. Stephanie

My hubby isn't the exterminator but I know that my mom used a flea bomb once and it killed all her spiders - she had wolf spiders. Don't know if that will help her situation but it worked for my mom.

I think the others are right in giving Nicole's husband some space for a few days. Well.... my hubby is in the hospital right now under possible suspicion of appendicitis. He called the Kaiser advice nurse, and she recommended the ER. I drove him there with Nathan, then returned home as Nathan has to go to bed soon, and we don't want Nathan in the ER. My parents drove in and are staying with Greg now, and BIL and SIL have offered for one of them to stay at our house with Nathan should I need to return to the hospital. Greg feels a little funny that the whole family is mobilizing because as he says "it's probably nothing", but it's good to know that family will jump up to help if need be. I'll let ya'll know if anything new develops.

Ruth, praying for your hubby! Nicole, it depends a lot on his personality...so I"m not sure what to suggest but to pray before you do anything. Praying for reconciliation and for Nath's health issue to be healed or figured out. Sarah, I would tell her to try flea bombing the house. They do kill pretty much every bug, except maybe cockroaches, but I don't know because I've never had those. Whenever we've flea bombed, we have noticed no spiders or houseflies for a while too. If she has a basement, make sure she bombs that also, because spiders like basements.

Just so you ladies know. Nicole knows that none of you will know exactly what she is going through, and she knows that everyone and every situation is different, but she just needs opinions so she doesn't feel so alone in this. Just like a lot of us do... we ask people what they would do just to get an idea.... even though we know that we might not actually do what we said we would in a certain situation cuz things are always different when we live it. She knows that anything can happen and anything can change, but it makes her feel better knowing that you ladies at least share thoughts with her even if you are not just like her in the way she thinks and does things. So thanks for just loving Nicole and praying for her. It's really awesome knowing so many of you care. It makes me happy and I for surely know it makes her feel blessed. quote:

I like this a lot and I know she will too. quote:
Nicole - I told Jason about your situation and asked what he would recommend. (Of course, take this with a grain of salt because we are not in your situation.) That said, Jason recommends you give him some space. Operating in fear (freaking out, calling, texting out of fear) will only drive him further away. Let him take a step back by himself and give him a call in a few days. This doesn't mean you are giving up on your husband or your marriage! This simply means you are taking well needed time apart to gather your thoughts together. During that time I would focus on you and your kids. What part have you played in this situation? What other doctor can you see? What is the Lord saying to you. Yell, scream, cry - rage at God - He won't get his feelings hurt. He'll only be there to hold you after you've exhausted yourself out. Love you. This sounds like a good idea! That is so awesome that Jason has some input! I know that Nicole will totally appreciate this knowing what you 2 went through and where you are today. Thanks Jae! I emailed this to Nicole. (((((((((((((Sideway and hubby)))))))))) Your guys' family sounds awesome! I hope he is okay and that it is nothing. I am glad that he decided to get checked out though. Thanks Donna, I emailed Nicole and let her know what you said too. And for everyone that is praying I let Nicole know too. Thanks ladies! Nicole means a lot to me so when you ladies do something nice for her and show you care it totally makes me happy too.

Another question from Nicole. She is wondering if her husband has low self esteem. She is wondering if he pushes away to get attention from her again. Like, if he pushes away in hopes she will chase after him so that he knows she does love her and he then feels better about himself. ??? Any thoughts? By the way, she is asking me to post things because the computer her mum has isn't the greatest and it is easier for her to tell me things so I can tell you ladies since my computer works well. She would come on herself if her mum's computer worked better/faster.

ORIGINAL: peculiar_lady2 oh and my Grandma IS a dinosaur if you listen to her tell it....lol. Hmmm, I wonder which sort?! My son LOVED The Land Before Time. He loved Spike, Ducky, Cera and Spike. When I was expecting our 2nd child, my ds was 4, so quite talkative. We were talking about the new baby one day, and telling him that if it was a girl, she'd be called Sarah. His eyes opened wide, and he said "You've got a DINOSAUR in there?"!!!! (I'd said Sarah, and he'd thought Cera - as in the TriCERAtops in the DVD) Absolutely priceless!! He was actually quite disappointed that it was going to be a baby person, not a dinosaur, but he got over it! Even bought her a cuddly Cera as a present when she was born!!
