(((Nicole/Aus)))

Ooh ladies I'm so tired today. I should have gone to bed at 11pm. Instead I worked on Dustin's page for the profile.
http://www.new.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=129251&l=04c7a&id=1018906657

He saw it today and said that he's jealous because the dogs' pages are "more cool". ROFL! I told him I was trying to keep his manly and sleek, instead of cutesy. And apparently "loyal" sounds like a dog. LOL He's so silly. So I guess I'll figure out something else there. Suggestions? I wish I could have made the center photo bigger, cause his eyes are aaaamazing in that photo.

Great news, Jae. (Bummer about the cosleeper though.)

Aww thanks, hon. The little downloadable kits really help though.

I kinda sorta almost enjoy it. Who knew? I don't like paper scrapbook stuff, but the digital is kind of fun. I *heart* me some photoshop.

Nicole gave me persmission to write a bit more.

Her husband told her mum that he thinks that she doesn't love him anymore because she is always tired and doesn't want to go anywhere most of the time. She talked to him and asked what was going to happen and he said he didn't know. He said he didn't know if he wanted to be with her anymore. He told Nicole that she has to stay with her mum until she gets Nath sorted out. She's scared and asked that we pray that God softens his heart and that she can help out Nath and know what to do and what she needs to change herself.

By the way, Nicole's mum heard Nath's belly and saw how much pain he was in when he was trying to get rid of his gas and totally believes Nicole.

I just feel so terrible for her. She is half asleep all the time and things just seem to get worse and worse for her. I really do pray that this break helps them both know what they need to do.

Janine, that is so great that you get to eat spaghetti again!

Crystal, you are talented! Your I.T geek's page is cool!

Nicole/Canada: I Understand her being scared! However, I think this may be the best thing for HER. She can get her moms help, have some distance between her and her hubby (not divorce, but distance.) She desperately needs support. I think her and her hubby will benefit from some distance. It sounds like he's completely overwhelmed and thus checked out. Sadly, he's not handling his overwhelmed well - he's running from the source of it (nicole and baby) vs. running to it to try and help the situation. I bet hearing a doctor say it's just Nicole made it even worse.

When is Nicole going to get a second opinion?

Please tell Nicole that I am going to pray that this time heals the wounds and that her mom is the support she needs. She needs help. Oh and I'm also going to pray that they find a better doctor!

Today has been cleaning day! My bathroom, kitchen, bedroom, living room and ALL MY LAUNDRY is just about DONE! All I have to do is vacuum and clean the floors in the kitchen.

Janine, I let Nicole know. Thanks. She's taken Nath to the doctor's a few times and already had a second and maybe 3rd opinion so far (?). Every doctor seems to say something different. Sometimes it is reflux, sometimes it is allergies, sometimes it is Nath acting out ( ), sometimes they tell her she is doing the right things, other times they don't listen to her, sometimes they do tests, other times they seem to just push her out the door without doing a thing or listening.

It has got to be so frustrating!

Yolanda, how are you today? Allergic reactions like that are freaky! I am allergic to to many drugs and have even ended up in the ER because of some. So now I don't take anything besides tylenol anymore.

Janine, yay for getting so much cleaning done! Yesterday and today are my cleaning days too. Well mostly yesterday. All I had to do today was wash our towels. Lorne even vacuumed, emptied the dishwasher and cleaned our cockatiels cage before going to the gym. I didn't expect him to clean the cage so I was super happy when I saw it all clean!

Have any of you ladies every seen a guinea pig "popcorn"? My guy finally likes to come out of his cage and run around. And he is crazy! It is hilarious to watch him bounce around with all his hair going all over the place. I really need to try to get a video of him. I bring him to the landing at the top of our stairs and close all the doors so he stays in one area. He will chase our cats around totally freaking them out, chase our dogs making them all excited and he loves to chew on Rudy's collar and his feet. He will whistle loudly and act so silly! Then he will get tired, walk back to his blanket, spread out, yawn and then want to fall asleep. It's nice having him finally ask to come out. It was hilarious cuz Lorne startled him so he froze (like a statue) and wouldn't move until Lorne left and then went back to running around chasing our pets.

Yay! Jae about getting to eat spaghetti again. I was happy when I could eat salads again, that did not agree with Hunter for quite a while when I was nursing.

We had a nice weekend, but I have not been sleeping good at all which is not normal for me. I am not able to get comfy at night and just having a hard time falling asleep. Yesterday we went to Atlanta to purchase a IMac computer from Best Buy since they were offering 18 months no interest. Our computer was getting pretty bad so though it was a want it was a need too. On the way there we stopped at Tanger Outlets and did some shopping, we have to go back when we can spend longer. I did find Hunter 4 graphic tees for next summer from the Children's Place for $2.99 a piece. Well I am going to go clean up the kitchen and rest before evening service tonight.

Chelle - When we need a new computer we will probably get MAC. Although, Jason found Linux and we LOVE IT! We'll never do windows again if we can help it. I love target! Glad you found some great deals!

Nicole/Canada: :( to those doctors! Is her mom helpful to her? Woot to cleaning! You crack me up with your animal stories!

I'm in a lot of pain today... I couldn't imagine this would hurt so much, it's just an outer ear infection, but I can barely hear out of that ear, and my jaw is so sore, I can barely eat (my *favorite* thing to do )
Anyway, I went to the same clinic today after church, and it was the same doctor, and he was so so so apologetic, he felt really bad, he couldn't believe he missed that on my chart, he even said "was that [name of drug] there last night?" and I said Yup! Anyway, he apologized about 5 times, and gave me another prescription, so hopefully it works and I don't react to this one. So far no itchy tongue, so I think it might be alright!

Awww, poor Nicole. I will be praying for sure, for sure.

Jae, enjoy your spaghetti!!

Two days late again...tested this morning, but negative... something wacky is going on.

I used to have very irregular periods right up till about 3 years ago, and I would often ovulate (ie have all the symptoms of ovulation) without getting a period. I just tended to write it off as "firing blanks", though that is not exactly a medical diagnosis.

Jae, I am sure her mom will be helpful. I don't know much about her mom though. Glad you like my pet stories!

Yolanda, ouch! That does sound painful. I had a totally plugged ear for 10 days last month. It was so stinken annoying! I couldn't hear Lorne unless he was talking towards my good ear. I tried to get into the doctor's, but every walk in clinic in our area was full (crazy, I know) and no one would let me make an appt without being a walk-in patient first. I read that sometimes the pain of a plugged ear isn't an infection and is just wax (which I thought all along) and that standing in the shower filling your ear up with warm water and letting it drain over and over again helps. Well it did! I was upset I didn't try that earlier. I will pray that your ear heals and I am so glad that those drugs didn't make you really really sick. I hope this new prescription works.

Nicole's wondering what you ladies would do in a same situation. Or what you have done if you've ever been in a situation like this. Should she leave her husband alone for a while or continue to try to call him or send him messages trying to patch things up.

I think maybe a few days of no messages might be good, but I'm not an expert.

I dunno what would work best for her husband..would he respond well to that kind of thing..or is he the type who needs a bit to cool off before trying to talk?

ETA: decided to edit. Because it's my post and I can

Yeah, I think maybe give him a few days, and then send a message or phone call just to feel things out.

Nicole, the Dr says swimmer's ear (what I have) is caused by cleaning your ears out with Q-tips (which I don't do). It can also be caused by swimming in fresh water. I recently did stick a q-tip in that ear, but only because it has been itchy for a few weeks.... (I got the "we never stick anything smaller than our elbow into our ears" speech from the doctor, so I don't need to hear it here please )...and it was driving me crazy. I suspect it was from swimming in the river and the itchiness just turned into this.
Oh, and right after the speech, he told me to stuff cotton in my ears after the drops.

Yolanda don't you love when they tell you things like that.

Hope everyone had a great weekend.

Nicole, I was in the exact same situation. I did leave. I took the kids and we left. I did not call him for 3 days and when I did call he was so happy to actually hear from me that we got the most things worked out in that conversation then almost any other one we ever had. Now I can't tell you if that would work for your hubby but I can just say that is what worked for us.
