A few days ago Lynn was talking about eating Fritos and I mentioned Pedro Delight and someone asked where the recipe was: Here is the recipe you asked me for. PADRO DELIGHT 2 lbs. Ground Chuck 2 Cans Chili Hot Beans 1 Can Chopped Ripe Olives (opt.) Salt, Pepper & Chili Powder to taste 1 bag crushed Corn Chips 6 cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese Cook meat and drain. Add beans, salt, pepper chili powder (and olives if desired) If mixture is too dry add 1/4 to 1/2 cup ketchup. Layer as follows: corn chips, meat mixture, cheese. Bake @ 325* until cheese is bubbly. Serve with salad.

"Locked Out" (I only had to change one name in this story) Bobby and Sam exited and locked the car in a hurry, forgetting to remove the key which was in the ignition. Realizing the mistake, Bobby asked, "Why don't we get a coat hanger to open it." "No, that won't work" answered Sam. "People will think we're trying to break in." Then Bobby suggested, "What if we use a pocket knife to cut around the rubber, then stick a finger in and pull up the lock?" "No," said Sam. "People will think we're too dumb to use a coat hanger." "Well," sighed Bobby, "we'd better think of something fast. It's starting to rain, and the sun roof is open!"

"Direct Object" Teacher (Cindy) to class: "Give me a sentence with a direct object." Student (Little Mike): "Everybody thinks our teacher is beautiful." Teacher (Cindy): "Why thank you. But what is the direct object?" Student (Little Mike): "A good report card."

"Slow Down" The speed limit on the highway running through our small town of Millbrook was changed from 40 to 35 MPH. Then one afternoon Mike, the town mayor was stopped in the coffee shop by a Sam, a police officer. "Can I speak to you a moment?" he said. "Sure," mayor Mike replied. "What can I help you with?" "We're advising people that the speed limit has been lowered on the highway through town, and we'd appreciate your co-operation." "No problem," said mayor Mike. "Do you want me to bring this up at the next council meeting?" "No," replied Sam, the police officer. "We want you to slow down."
