Well, I would probably do away with golf. I would rather just make it off limits to pastors.

Mixed Martial Arts, aka Ultimate Fighting. It started with boxing, then came kick boxing, now it's MMA where just about anything goes. At the end of this road is the Roman Coliseum and the gladiators fighting to the death.

My first response was golf. The only thing more boring than watching it is listening to people talk about it.

However, on further review, I'd have to go with MMA.

Baseball, golf, or racing.

Golf is alright to play, but incredibly boring to watch.

I agree with that! I'd add wrestling as well! Star Trek wasn't too far off with the gladiators on TV!

Professional "wrestling".

Not a sport. Even McMahon finally admitted it wasn't.

I miss the masks. Speaking of which McMahon could use one for sure. He reminds me of "Dallas Raines" (a weatherman for the local ABC station here in Los Angeles) on steroids.

Pro wrestling are "soap operas" for men!

A heretic is someone questioning the established belief or dogma.

Since McMahon didn't invent wrestling, it isn't his right to classify whether it is or isn't. I can assure you that there is real wrestling out there, just none of which you'll see on television.

I would join in the Ban Pro Wrestling movement. Now college and sumo wrestling... that is sport. "WWwhatever" is a b-grade performance by stunt men and women.

No offense to stunt actors BTW. They work hard.

Yes, I'm aware of that, however, your post said Professional "wrestling". I took it as a reference to the WWE and its predecessors.

Since ESPN and ESPN2 now broadcasts poker, bowling and hot-dog eating contests:

Hot-dog eating contests
Poker
Bowling

I might include badminton in this list, too!

I can agree with abolishing hot dog eating contests and poker, but not bowling.

Sadly, real wrestling is being abolished because of Title IX requests to ban boys from playing sports.

No, real wrestling isn't being abolished due to Title IX. Title IX just ensures girls get an even chance to play. Wrestling has been dying a slow death since I was in high school, and that was 1975. There's very little interest in a sport that doesn't in some way lead directly to multi-million dollar contracts and signing bonuses. The dedication and hard work it takes to be competitive in wrestling just aren't there in most of today's kids. If they're gonna wrestle, it's gonna be some kind of martial arts form that just might lead to the UFC or MMA. Would you want your kid to aspire to the WWE?
